PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.Piper!This gorgeous girl is FULL of energy and always ready to play! She was dumped by her previous owners and was found scared running down the road. Once she was shown some love and kindness, her sweet and loyal personality came out. She is maybe around 6 months old and is still learning her manners. We are currently working on learning not to jump on people, and how to sit. So far she is doing well with a crate and house training. She is currently in a home that has 2 larger dogs and she is not scared and loves to play with them, but she may be a little much for dogs that do not have higher energy levels. Because she is still learning and has high energy, she may not be a good fit for a home with very small children but would do well with older kids (8 and up) to play with her. She loves her toys, playing fetch, pestering her foster brothers, and being spoiled with pup cups! She currently weighs about 20lbs so she will be on the small side of medium once fully mature. We do not know her breed but those eyes and ears make us wonder if maybe there’s some Boston Terrier in there? She’ll be bigger than a Boston though. She’s probably a mix of several breeds. She is spayed, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations. She has a high prey drive for cats, chickens or small animals. She is a jumper and can clear a 3 ft fence and will run if given the opportunity. Meet Little Miss Kiwi!!! Kiwi is a 6 month old Boston terrier that was surrendered to Zoe's House due to a leg deformity. Both of her front legs are affected by angular, limb disorder (ALD) but it doesn't slow this little girl down at all. She is the sweetest girl with just the right amount of sass. Kiwi has learned to overcome obstacles with how she gets around. As she has grown she has adapted and learned new ways to walk. She can get up an entire flight of stairs in the blink of an eye, unfortunately she can't get back down. Kiwi is being fostered with dogs of all sizes, as well as cats. She loves playing with the other dogs. She especially loves the pitbull in her foster home. She will snuggle with her and suckle on her ears, it's so cute and slimy all at the same time. Kiwi is used to be in a play yard when she needs to be left home alone and does well. She is still working on her potty training but has been doing amazing. She recently received a wheelchair and we spent the first few weeks just getting her used to it. She is now learning how to move about, she likes that lots of treats are involved. The ideal home for this sweet little girl would be mainly a single story home with an open floor plan to give her lots of room to use her wheels. Another dog friendly pup is definitely needed for her, she loves having a playmate and someone to learn from. Someone who is home more than not would also be ideal to help her learn and maneuver about. Kiwi is UTD on vaccinations and on preventatives. She is not altered and will be adopted out with a spay contract to be altered when she turns one. This does come with a 250 dollar fee that is fully refundable once proof of spay is provided. She is in a temporary wheelchair at this time. The chair is made for quad dogs. She will need a new wheelchair when she is done growing that is just for her front legs. The quad chair is adjustable and is teaching her how to walk and get used to being in wheels. Her foster family will happily answer any questions about her condition and her chair. Bandit, came to us along with Buddy and Hershey because their owner had stage 4 lung cancer and could no longer care for them. She's super scared and sweet and you just want to help her. The man kept these dogs in crates for seven years. Everything is over stimulation for her. Overall she’s doing very well considering her entire world has been erased and there's so much around new to get used to. She is very very sweet. I believe she’s half bull dog—she has the bull dog snort. She weighs 38 lbs. She lived with other dogs in her life ---both males and females and she lived another male and a cat in her foster home. At first she wasn’t overly friendly with the dogs here but has adjusted after a slow introduction. Bandit is spayed, up to date with vaccinations, and microchipped. She is also housetrained. I'm here with my sissy Ava. We came from down south and now mom says we are northern implants not sure what that means but ok I'm learning new stuff every day. We have lots of friends here at the ranch. We have doxi friends that are a little older than us and mom says to not bark like they do its 'annoying' I'm not sure why she thinks that but I tried it and I thought it was rather fun so we do it when moms not in the room but somehow she always knows and she comes out of her office and gives us 'the look' hmmmm I wonder how she knows??!!!Ava is my bestest friend and we would LOVE to stick together. Mom says she will find us a furever home with a fenced yard so we can run and play like we do here! We aren't 'fixed' yet so mom says as soon as we are old enough to have that done we will be ready for our new home. I didn't know we was broken but I guess I just gotta trust the lady.... I thought maybe we could stay here but she says we will get a home where we can be the center of someones world. Humans talk funny I have NO clue what that even means! My name is Ava and I am a "northern transplant". Me and my brother took a long ride and ended up at this place they call the ranch. We have lots of friends to play with and these things called humans who always want to pick us up and smooch on us!!! We let them and then we wiggle to get down and go play! They are sort of "sissies" Alvin says because when we try to nibble on them they act like we were trying to hurt them. Alvin says maybe we should just nibble on the bones on the floor and leave the humans fingers alone since they obviously can't handle our nibbles. They apparently like to be licked so we do that just to make them happy since they seem to be the food dispensers... We have sat down with the staff and told them we would like a fenced yard when we are adopted :) 2nd Chance has promised we will not go to a one dog household we want another small dog to play with if we can't stay together!
