She is now safe and ready to find a loving forever family of her own.‍‍ With PeopleNara is an incredibly affectionate and people-loving girl. She is friendly not only with people she knows, but also with strangers. She will happily approach new people, rub against them for affection, and is very comfortable being touched.She can easily be picked up and held, and she may even roll over and show her belly to someone she has just met. She truly loves being around people and enjoys receiving affection. With Other DogsNara will approach unfamiliar dogs and politely say hello, but she isn’t particularly interested in playing with them.She tends to be more comfortable with dogs around her own size or smaller. Overall, she is somewhat intimidated by other dogs and much prefers the company of people. If another dog bothers or challenges her, Nara usually chooses to move away rather than engage.She may be happiest in a home where she can enjoy plenty of attention from her humans. With CatsNara’s reaction to cats has not yet been observed. A cat test can be arranged upon request. Energy LevelNara has a low energy level and is generally calm and relaxed at home. She loves resting and taking it easy, but she also really enjoys going for walks and becomes more lively and curious once she’s outside. On WalksNara loves taking her time to sniff and explore, so her walks tend to involve lots of stopping and starting. She may walk slightly ahead of her person, but overall she follows her handler well. At HomeNara has many wonderful qualities that can make her an easy companion:• No food guarding with people or other dogs• No observed separation anxiety• Rarely barks• Calm and quiet in a kennel• Mostly outdoor potty trainedNara is a sweet, gentle little girl whose favourite thing is simply being close to people. Please note that phone interviews are conducted only after a vet reference is approved and a potential match is identified for your home. We would love to introduce you to Esa! About Esa Esa is a sweet, 1-year-old girl weighing 21 pounds. Found as a stray, she required an emergency spay and an eye enucleation before being rescued by a kind veterinarian who connected her with our team. She also recently had successful cherry eye surgery on her remaining eye. Despite her tough start, Esa is learning that the world is a safe place. She is still a bit shy and skittish, but she makes progress every day and loves relaxing in her kennel with a soft blanket. Ideal Home & Expectations - Family & Environment: Esa would thrive with an active family who includes her in daily activities. She requires an experienced Boston Terrier or French Bulldog owner who can provide the time, patience, and encouragement she needs to build confidence. - Yard Requirements: A securely fenced yard is required (we cannot accept invisible fencing or apartments) as she continues working on leash training. - Other Pets: Esa prefers to be the center of attention, but she can coexist with a low-key male dog after proper introductions. She also does well with cats (she is currently fostered with two). - Children: She does best with calm, respectful children who have experience living with dogs. - Medical Needs: Annual follow-up appointments with a veterinary ophthalmologist are required to monitor her remaining eye and check for dry eye following her cherry eye repair. He was brought into our care after his owner sadly passed away, and his family wanted to ensure he found the best possible home. About Louie: - Personality & Lifestyle: Friendly, affectionate, and a total cuddle bug who loves sleeping in bed and resting on laps. He enjoys car rides, daily walks, and sunbathing in the yard. - Compatibility: Great with people and other small dogs (large dogs make him nervous). He can live with calm, polite cats, but prefers a home without young children living there daily. - Training & Habits: Housetrained, excellent on a leash, and an infrequent barker (only alerting to doorbells or knocks). - Home Requirements: Requires a home with a fenced yard where someone is not away for long periods. - Health: No special medical needs. Meet Camo Hi, my name is Camo although maybe I should have been named Yoda. I kind of resemble that guy from Star Wars. I’m a sweet and calm labrador retriever possibly Boston terrier bulldog mix. I am estimated to be two years old who weighs just 37 pounds. If you are looking for a nice medium sized pup I am your guy. I’m a total cuddle bug who also loves to do anything my people are doing. I do great with other dogs and would happily welcome some furry friends in my new home. I came into rescue after being found wandering a rural neighborhood. Kind people looked for my family, but no one came forward—so now I’m ready to find my forever one! I love to go for walks and explore new places. I’m friendly with everyone I meet. I have a decent amount of energy when I’m outside but I know how to calm down and relax when indoors. I would thrive with an active, loving family—and I’d do great in a home with children.
