I am a timid little girl at first, but once I warm up and feel safe, I am the silliest, sweetest, moving loving and loyal companion one could ask for.Personality:Dionne may start off a little cautious with new people, but once she feels safe, she becomes an affectionate, loyal little shadow. She’s a pro snuggler, gives excellent kisses, and enjoys short bursts of playful energy before settling in for cuddles. She loves; walks, scratches, toys, treats, bones, and even chasing her own tail.Training & House Manners:- Potty trained — we are even working on bell training, so that she rings a bell to let you know she needs to go out- Sleeps through the night quietly in her crate and keeps it clean- Crate trained during the workday — relaxes calmly while her foster parents are away- SUPER SMART and treat-motivated which makes her eager to please/learn, she already knows “sit”, `lay`, `paw`, `high five` and more!- Good on leash and loves getting out for walks and enjoys all the smells - working on not getting too excited about small critters and strangers encountered on walks- Loves scratches and will melt in your lap if you hit the right spotGood with dogs and kids, but too excited for cats! Meet Our Boston Terrier Crew!These Boston Terriers recently joined our rescue after being saved from a breeder who no longer wanted to care for them when they didnt sell. Thankfully, our team stepped in to give them the safety and love they deserved. Now, these sweet pups are thriving in foster homes and ready to start the next chapter of their lives as cherished family members! Though their beginnings werent easy, these Bostons are blossoming every day. Theyre playful, affectionate, and soaking up all the attention they can get. They love toys, belly rubs, and hanging close to their people. As with all rescue dogs, theyll need patient adopters who can give them time to adjust and show them what it means to be truly loved. A Few Important Notes: Adoption Area: We only adopt to families living in Illinois, Wisconsin, or states that directly border either IL or WI. Renters: If you rent, please have your landlord contact us directly at mallorytsherwood@gmail.com to confirm that dogs are allowed in your home. Adoption Fee: $800, which includes microchip, current vaccines and boosters, deworming, and spay/neuter at our rescue vet. Using Your Own Vet: If you prefer to complete the spay/neuter with your own vet, well reimburse $100 once proof of procedure is provided. This must be done before 6 months of age, and adopters will sign a contract agreeing to this. Thankfully, they were discovered in Oxford, Mississippi, and brought to safety.Despite their rough start, these boys are sweet, resilient, and absolutely full of charm.
