Hi Biggie Paws Friends! Meet Chunk. He is originally from Juarez. His quest for a warm bed off the streets led him to WI. Chunk is a 20 pound, two-year-old that resembles a Boston terrier mix. He’s neutered, microchipped and up to date on his age appropriate vaccinations. He does well with other dogs …and is usually the most playful in the bunch. We think he would do best in a home with a buddy. He hasn’t been around cats or kids yet, so we’re not sure how he would do with them but think he would be just fine. Chunk is mostly potty trained, but working on perfecting the art of going “outside”. He thanks you in advance for your patience as he finishes that process. Chunk is SO smart. He very quickly learned “stay” …and he is ready for someone to help him add to his current bag of tricks - “come here” and sometimes “sit.” Chunk is also learning about walking on a leash and doesn’t require a fenced in yard. He loves being outside and is always trying to get his humans to stay out there just a few more minutes. It's hard not to let him since he's so happy out there …there’s SO much to sniff. If it were up to him, he'd spend all day exploring the yard and neighborhood.Chunk is a very sweet and loving boy …and SO soft! He quickly becomes warmly affectionate and loyal to anyone who shows him the love, patience and playfulness he deserves. He's full of energy and excited every time his humans walk in the door. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bones was found abandoned at an business in San Antonio.  He had recently had surgery.  Attempts were made to find either the owner or the vet performing the surgery.  The finder contacted our rescue when the pup continued to throw up.  Our doctor determined he has mega-esophagus.  He will always have to eat or drink in a Bailey Chair and spend 30 minutes in an upright position after every meal or drink of water.  Bones is an awesome dog.  Very friendly and loves people. If you are interested in adopting this boy you will need to fill out an application at www.adoggie4you.org.  This boy will always have to eat a gruel made from canned ground ProPlan with water three times a day.  He is very loving, but also tries to eat anything left on the ground.  Bones cannot be adopted into a family with children or other dogs.  If he ate a toy or dropped piece of food it could cause him to aspirate.  Bones weighs 26 pounds, is 3 years old and his adoption fee is $500. This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cin cinnati, Lexington KY, or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225 .
