Hi, I'm Peppy. Thanks for taking a look at me! I know my cute face is irresistible, but remember that I will take up lots of your time and attention while I grow into an awesome adult dog. Socialization, training (including house training), and exercise are just a few of the things I will look to you for. Chewing, teething, and learning what is Okay and not Okay to put in my mouth are all part of the puppy experience. And, be prepared for the time and money for frequent trips to the vet during the first few months so I can get up to date on my boosters and vaccines. This guy is in need of a foster or foster to adopt .  He is 9 months old shy but will learn. Ok with other dogs and cats.  We are waiting for a neuter appointment for him. Adoption fee is $450 with a $150’refund with proof of neuter if you do it.  $450 if we do it.  If you can't adopt or foster, please think about sponsering a cat/dog, puppy/kitten. Just $20 a month will help feed one. Just $40 will get a kitten spayed/neutered. The possiblities are endless. Hi, I'm Tux, a very dapper 2 year old Boston Terrier mix. I have lots of energy and would love to follow my new family around and play with them.  I LOVE toys, especially the kind that make loud squeaking sounds.  Oh boy! Those are the best!  I'm very friendly with people and would enjoy both big and little ones who like to play.  I like meeting new dog friends too, but my foster mom says I don't take a hint when the other dog doesn't want to play. I've had a few squabbles with my foster brother who doesn't like to share his toys, but get along fine with my foster sister who's older and more laid back.  There aren't any cats in my foster home, but my foster mom thinks cats would probably not appreciate my getting in their faces since I'm very curious.  At night I'm happy to sleep in my crate or in a room near my people.  I love treats and would be happy to continue my good boy training such as sit, stay, lay down.  I'm very proud to say I have not had a single potty incident in the house since I came to stay with my foster family!  I can let you know I need to potty by standing at the door or whining.  A fenced backyard would be great, but if you're willing to teach me some leash manners such as not pulling, then I'd be fine in an apartment or townhouse as well.  Tux is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, housebroken, and neutered.  This dog's family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing.  A meeting will not be scheduled until you have an approved application, so if you are interested in adopting this dog, fill out an Online Application today!  Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will contact you to arrange a meeting.
