Sweet sweet Gramma Mable!! She is one of a kind. She had such a rough beginning, but we are here to find her the most perfect furever happily ever after!!  Mable came up from KY and wouldn't put any weight on her hind leg. After we brought her in to get checked out, it was confirmed that her leg was broken right in the middle of the femur. We got her scheduled right away and they ended up amputating due to the muscles being in that position for so long, they wouldn't extend anymore. She's the cutest little tripod pup there is and now that the pain of the broken leg is gone, she's doing amazing!! Mable also underwent surgery for her spay, dental and mammary tumor removal. Even after all of this, Mable is so sweet and loving and is on her way to feeling probably the best she has ever felt in her short 6-8 years on this earth. Due to the amount of mammary tumors that were removed, the vet does think more will eventually grow back but just recommends lots of belly rubs and inspections. He informed us that once we feel or see a new one grow in, just to have your vet surgially remove it!!  Mable does amazing with her foster family. She absolutely adores her human foster brothers and gets along well with her foster doggies. She hasn't been around cats but my guess would be, she wouldn't care if they were in her new family or not. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bones was found abandoned at an business in San Antonio.  He had recently had surgery.  Attempts were made to find either the owner or the vet performing the surgery.  The finder contacted our rescue when the pup continued to throw up.  Our doctor determined he has mega-esophagus.  He will always have to eat or drink in a Bailey Chair and spend 30 minutes in an upright position after every meal or drink of water.  Bones is an awesome dog.  Very friendly and loves people. If you are interested in adopting this boy you will need to fill out an application at www.adoggie4you.org.  This boy will always have to eat a gruel made from canned ground ProPlan with water three times a day.  He is very loving, but also tries to eat anything left on the ground.  Bones cannot be adopted into a family with children or other dogs.  If he ate a toy or dropped piece of food it could cause him to aspirate.  Bones weighs 26 pounds, is 3 years old and his adoption fee is $500. This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cin cinnati, Lexington KY, or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225 . Hi, I'm Willow! "Wherever you stray I follow I'm begging for you to take my hand" Any Taylor Swift fans out there? I'm begging for you to take "my leash" and I'll follow you home! You should know that like Taylor, I am a strong, independent woman. I enjoy taking sniffy walks outside, training to get my favorite treat, and posing for pictures. I also love to snuggle, run around in a yard, potty trained, and crate trained. I can take a second to warm up to new people (What if you are secretly paparazzi??) but love my people once I can trust them. Due to my cautiousness, I would thrive with older teens in the home. I would also love a family who can help me work on cooperative care. Im not a fan of the vet and other husbandry care, so a slow, fear-free approach is best for me! I am an All-Star dog!
