You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Check Me out !Oh Miss Pollie Ann!  Have you ever seen such a happy smush face?  Pollie is a tank of a gal that LOVES humans.  She is still very active and spry at her age and has a lot to offer a family.  She gets along with other dogs peacefully but has a playful nature that might not be appreciated to those that are more of a couch potato, but it's not aggressive just goofy.  Unfortunately she is losing her home and her current family due to a loss of a living space and potential eviction.  She has lived her entire life with a family in a home environment and we are hoping to find someone to continue that life for her into her retirement.  If you would be interested meeting her, please submit an application through our website at www.amazingstraysrescue.org.  She is up to date on vaccines and spayed.  Her adoption fee includes her microchip and first dose of flea and tick prevention.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 3, 2024, 11:23 am

Story
6yr old Bridget lingered at the Imperial County Shelter for 5 months and after a few short days in a loving foster home, she has proven to be all her Boxer breed has to offer. Playful, Respectful, completely housetrained, joyful and fun to be around. She loves the companionship of some other dogs, as well as enjoying toys, she knows the difference between a shoe that is not hers to chew and a toy that she clearly will chew. Bridget can go from calm, chill to "let's go for a walk" in an instant. She rides well in a car, she loves the outdoors and her walks, she is a zig zagger on walks so we are working to work on that, but all in all, this girl is well behaved, respects boundaries and is a diamond in the ruff of the rough. Keep an eye out on this lovely girl, she is ready to join your family and bring you endless joy for many years to come. She's a completed application away from a chance to meet her at https://lionelslegacy.org/adopt/adoption-application/

Story
Hi. Unfortunately , I have to rehome my pitbull. I’ve had a lot happen recently where I no longer have the time to give him the attention and training he needs. Malo is a loving, excited dog that loves to play and be held like a baby. He is great with kids and other pets as he does not bark or bite. He is young ( 1yr, 3mo) therefore he’s still has a lot of energy. He’s fully crate trained and does pretty well. It’s really hard for me to give him up but I want him to go to someone that can give him the love and attention he deserves. He does have his shots and I will provide a leash, collar, harness and the food I have for him.

Story
Nova is a loving dog who loves to play and cuddle. She is about 6 years old but has lots of energy. She is amazing with kids. She is NOT good around other dogs and gets very anxious. She has gone to a three week board and train but I have not brought her around dogs to test if it has worked. She likes to be in the house off in the backyard with people and kids. She has a sensitive stomach so she eats dog food only with some occasional treats such as carrots, blueberries, etc.
