11-year-old Shorty ended up at Coachella Valley Animal Shelter after his dad passed away. Soon after, we welcomed him as a Frosted Face. Weighing 55 lbs., Shorty is an all-around wonderful dog who would be a great fit for many types of families, as he is gentle with children and good with other dogs. Whether you're looking for a walking buddy, a binge-watching cuddle partner, low-key companion, or all of the above, this boy fits the bill! Shorty has been on two 2-week Frosted Flings and currently lives in a Foster home. He has earned rave reviews from all! Here is what they reported: 💛 Sweet, gentle, and affectionate: Shorty loves being near his people, happily soaking up cuddles and belly rubs — but he’s not clingy. He’s content to nap nearby or even snooze in another room. 🏡 A+ house manners: He’s potty trained, non-destructive, and calm One family even gave him free roam of the house with their dog while they were out — and the boys just napped. 😴 Sleep champion: Shorty slept in bed every night during his first Fling and never woke his humans once. The Boxador is a mixed breed of dog–a cross between the Boxer and Labrador Retriever dog breeds. Medium to large in size, intelligent, and totally devoted to their families, these pups inherited some of the best qualities from both of their parents. Boxadors are also known as Laboxers, Boxerlabs, and Boxerdors. He is Hybrid breed little guy who will grow to be the size of a Boxer. Otto is being fostered with kittens/cats/puppies and other dogs. Even a parrot:) He loves to follow you and loves to cuddle. The most he likes is to eat and play tag of war with the other dogs. He is still a small puppy and the family that adopts him has to expect to do potty training and have a house with puppy proof, such as you do when you have a baby. This is a handsome Alec Chato:) with his beautiful blue eyes - Boxer & Australian Shepherd Hybrid breed. He has a sweet temperament with everyone, loves people and he is being fostered with cats and dogs of all sizes and ages. He is currently about 50 pounds, however, he still needs to grow some more - probably another 10 pounds. We rescued the mama and siblings from a very sad situation. They were starving and mama was looking for food in the trash :( Alec Chato is crate trained:) He will be perfect with a home with an active family or a busy individual. Due to travelling we hold their food, so they won't get car sick. We bath them, some of them are schedule for grooming as you know it is stressful for them; then they have to travel with us picking up other rescued fur kids, and so on, it is a very stressful hard day for them for people to just cancel at last minute or not show up or do show up and just say they are not ready. Our time as well as your time is valuable. Please don't waste valuable time that is so precious for a rescued pet. Every single wasted time is a time that an animal will die because we didn't get to them on time to help them. In addition, of wasting gas and grooming fees which are paid by volunteers. Please take the time to put your shoes in the shoes of the volunteer and most of it to put your shoes on our rescued fur kids!!
