Story
Meet Rocky this lovely Boxer/Pit Mix who was found in the desert emaciated beyond belief. His current Foster mommy has been Gr8 & all vaccines, bloodwork, and neutering has been done. He is gentle, loves his walks, loves to talk, house trained & a good eater. He is protective of his home & foster mommy & is super smart. Pulls a teeny bit on walks as he gets drawn towards other dogs. Preferred home would be with someone who knows the breed; he tends to get nervous when his personal space is invaded & tends to resource guard/protect his human. If interested in adopting please reach out. 714-878-2595.

Story
FOREVER FOSTER or ADOPTER WANTED! Bridget is a goofy 7-8 year old Boxer mix who weighs about 55 lbs. She loves meeting new people and wiggles her whole body with excitement. Treats are the only thing Bridget loves even more than people. Bridget enjoys playing with other dogs but she knows what she likes and can be a picky lady with other dogs.Bridget is fully potty trained and able to be left alone during the day. She would love a home where she can play hard and then nap after. Bridget would do well in a home with kids over 5 since she might accidentally knock over smaller children while playing.Fill out an adoption application directly on our website at www.lionelslegacy.org

Updated 3/22/26 As the foster for Silly, I ADORE this sweet baby! Hope we can find him a family home soon so they too can enjoy this handsome little dude. Silly gives the best hugs/kisses and just a good pup. He was sleeping in his crate with his sis but I just made the change to sleep in their own crate and doing amazing. He is a HARD napper when he is tired and ready for crate time he has ZERO problem. He sleeps at night for 8-10hrs not a beep and such bladder control! (in the crate, not in the house lol he is a baby and NOT house trained, if you do not have time to potty train, then you should not be looking at pups - sorry!) Silly is perfect with dogs, cats and all humans. Although I have noticed he can be shy and insecure when people come to the house he just discretly walks away 'stranger danger' but if you go find him and love him he wags his tail and all is fine. Silly is DONE with his puppy vaccination series and READY to go home. He is scheduled to be neutered on 4/13 so families should be local to san diego to be able to bring him to his neuter apt (of course adoption fee covers his surgery) and he will be old enough to receive his rabies, If you read this after 4/13 it means he is neutered and can NOW be adopted out of san diego area too.  Silly and Happy are currently fostered together along with other dogs/cats in a home with yard setting and he is really good about walking to his favorites spots to potty which is adorable and so proud of him. Not a big barker at all (at least not at this time) except when he is playing with fellow puppy friends and being rowdy. He is really enjoying to the dog park now for a short session to socialize with people and other dogs outside of the home. His besties aside from his sister are RED our alpha senior large breed dog who totally loves silly and Chester the orange tabby. Happy and Silly love each other BUT will NOT be able to be adopted together as they are strong players on border line sibling rivalry so if you are looking for a pair these 2 babies should not be adopted together. If you like to adopt or fsoter to adopt trial for my sweet pup please submit an application ASAP at arwob.org and we will contact you ! NOTE - We have NO idea what breed silly and happy are Silly looks like a boxer pup but we would not doubt they have bully breeds and small breeds like chihuahua or small breed terriers. They were rescued from tijuana where there were a medium size dogs all mutts in the 30-50 lbs range so we believe these pups mama was one of them and in the 30-40lb range but no idea on dad could have been boxer, shepherd or poodle for all we know! his medical record will state boxer but he is a true mutt.  Silly - is just that, a total innocent funny goofball Happy - is just that, nothing but smiles and outgoing personality  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you would like to meet one of our animals, PLEASE fill out an adoption application. Dog Adoption Application Cat Adoption Application   PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU ARE IN THE MILITARY  please fill out a short questionnaire in addition to the adoption application.
