He is gentle, loves his walks, loves to talk, house trained & a good eater. He is protective of his home & foster mommy & is super smart. Pulls a teeny bit on walks as he gets drawn towards other dogs. Preferred home would be with someone who knows the breed; he tends to get nervous when his personal space is invaded & tends to resource guard/protect his human. Why this pet is the one for you: If there were a test to determine the probability of this sweet boy stealing your heart, Ace would, well, ace it! Ace has personality in spades and is always up for a game of fetch. While in a foster home, Ace got along well with the resident dogs and loved playing with his ball, indoors and out. His previous owner reports that he loves children and is happy simply spending time with his people. Ace would thrive best with a family willing to support him through his senior years, including following up with a neurologist for some instability in his hind legs. He also came to us with a chronic eye condition that required removal of one eye and will need management with daily eye drops in his remaining eye going forward.
