Story
Boxer mix Female 11 months 26 pounds Coco – Affectionate, Playful Boxer Mix Looking for Her Forever Family Coco is an 11-month-old, 26-lb boxer mix with a big heart and playful spirit. She loves toys, cuddles, and being close to her people. She’s currently being fostered after being rescued from a hospital parking lot in Tijuana, where she was left tied up when her former owner became ill and could no longer care for her. For several days, Coco waited there—gentle, hopeful, and grateful for every bit of attention she received. After getting to know her and seeing how loving she was, we couldn’t leave her behind. Coco was taken to a veterinarian for a full health check, vaccinations, microchipping, and has been thriving in foster care ever since. Coco adores people and bonds quickly. She’s done wonderfully with adults and young children and greets everyone she meets with enthusiasm and affection. She also gets along very well with other dogs and would be especially happy in a home with a canine sibling or people who enjoy playtime, walks, and interactive companionship. She is house-trained, knows to wait to go outside, and is currently learning leash manners. Like many young dogs, she’s still polishing those skills, but she’s eager to learn and responds well to guidance. Coco loves toys—especially chew toys—and while she can entertain herself, her favorite thing is being part of whatever her people are doing. She’s equally happy playing or curling up close for cuddles. Coco is energetic in the best way: playful, curious, and full of joy. She would do well in a home that can provide regular exercise, mental stimulation, and engagement. An apartment can absolutely work for her with an adopter who enjoys getting out for walks, playtime, or other activities to help her burn off her puppy energy. She is healthy, appears to have been well cared for earlier in life, and has no known medical issues. Coco will be spayed prior to adoption. Coco is currently being fostered while we thoughtfully search for the right forever home where she can truly thrive. She is a healthy, loving, and joyful young dog with an incredible capacity for affection and companionship. If you’re looking for a playful, people-loving pup who will bring energy, warmth, and devotion into your life, Coco is ready to meet you and become a cherished part of your family. Please contact Thomas at 619-751-9342 for any adoption inquiries. *PLEASE NOTE: This animal is listed as a courtesy for another organization or private party. Story
Viola is a fun, affectionate puppy with the perfect mix of playful energy and sweet cuddles. In her foster home, she loves zooming around the yard and entertaining herself when needed - though she would love a playful dog buddy in her forever home, she does well entertaining herself. Viola uses a dog door to go outside, sleeps quietly through the night in her crate like a champ, and loves chew bones and toys that crinkle or squeak. Viola's mama, Emmy, is a smaller-sized girl between 20 and 25 lbs. We aren't quite sure of her breed mix - possibly Chihuahua, Terrier and Spaniel. We don't know who Dad was - maybe a Boxer mix? - so do not know for sure how big they will get, but she will likely be medium in size. Viola is looking for a family that understands the time, patience, and energy needed to raise a young pup. We require all puppy adopters to provide training that includes: house training, basic training, leash training, and socialization. Additionally, this cutie is going to need proper exercise, mental stimulation, and your attention and love to grow up to be the best companion. We do not allow our dogs or puppies to sleep or live outside; they must be incorporated into your family and be made a priority in your life. In return, you will have the most loving and loyal family member you could ask for. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting an Emmy puppy then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps. Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing. Thank you for joining the Adoption Family with Labs and More Rescue. Story
Emmy's puppies will surely win your heart! These cuties came to us with their gentle hearted mama Emmy. Emmy is a smaller sized girl between 20 and 25 lbs. We aren't quite sure of her breed mix - possibly Chihuahua, Terrier and Spaniel. We don't know who Dad was - maybe a Boxer mix? - so do not know for sure how big they will get, but they will likely be medium in size. Rogen has an adorable underbite and looks like a black and white Boxer. He is doing well with housetraining in his current foster home and will knock on the door when he wants to go outside. He is social, playful and does very well with other dogs. He would likely do best with a dog buddy in his forever home to play and cuddle with and to help continue to build his confidence. Rogen is looking for a family that understands the time, patience, and energy needed to raise a young pup. We require all puppy adopters to provide training that includes: house training, basic training, leash training, and socialization. Additionally, this cutie is going to need proper exercise, mental stimulation, and your attention and love to grow up to be the best companion.
