Story
Penelope is the softest cuddle bug and sweetest work from home companion. Her prior owner was forced to give her up due to financial and health issues, so I am fostering her until she can be placed in her new forever home. She currently lives with other dogs and two small children with no issues. I think an ideal home for her would be somewhere where she can spend most of her time with her humans and she’ll adore you nonstop. Trained to sit and give her paw. Does ok on a special leash, but still pulls a bit. No potty accidents or furniture destruction or barking unless someone knocks on the door. Calm demeanor and loves to sleep on her bed at home and kind of wander around to check on everyone and get pets. Gets excited when it is time to go for a walk. Plays well with our other 2 boxers. Loves car rides. Snores.

Meet Felicia Felicia is currently being fostered in west LA. To meet her, contact Chanya at (818) 519-5123 or email croye97@msn.com. Felicia is a two-year-old spayed female dog that her foster thinks is a Boxer/Pit mix. She is an auburn color and a beautiful little girl. She currently weighs 45 lbs. She has had one littler of pups, but as mentioned, is now spayed. Her vaccinations are all up to date and she is housetrained. Felicia gets along well with adults and other dogs. Older kids would probably be best in her forever home as she gets quite exuberant when playing. She has not been tested with small children or cats. At their first meeting, Felicia was very shy with her foster, but has now blossomed into a funny, playful, athletic little girl who wants to cuddle with you as much as possible. She gets along well with her foster brother and sister, and would do well in a home with another playful dog. She knows the commands sit and no. He came to us as a stray, so we don't know much about his past - but what we do know is that he adores calm spaces, cozy naps and sunbathing like it's an art form. He loves being pet and will happily lean in for all the affection you're willing to give. He's done well interacting with other pups in our care and seems to be potty-trained. Like many seniors, he's shown some possible signs of arthritis in our care, but nothing gets in the way of his ability to appreciate the simple joys in life. Meet Popeye, a spirited and social guy who is ready to find his new home! Having spent much of his life as an outdoor adventurer, he is currently transitioning to indoor living and will thrive with a patient owner who can provide a bit of structure. Popeye is a truly friendly companion who loves going on long walks, mastering the art of the "sploot," and soaking up as much affection and petting as he can get. Because he prefers to keep his favorite food and toys to himself, he would do best in a home with children over the age of 10. While he can be reactive toward other dogs and should avoid off-leash areas, he is a loyal partner who will make a wonderful addition to the right family.
