Story
Hi, I'm Stax! I'm a 1.5-year-old Boxer mix who is sweet, fun, and full of affection. I love spending time with my people and am always ready to bring some playful energy and happy companionship to the day. I'm the kind of dog who makes it easy to fall in love with me!I do have a congenital heart condition that doesn't currently affect my day-to-day life, but it may shorten my lifespan. Surgery is an option for me, and I'd love a family who is willing to explore that possibility. That said, I'm also looking for someone who will cherish me for however much time I have, making sure my life is filled with love, fun, and all the good things a dog could ask for. If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate companion and are ready to make the most of every day together, I may be your guy! Story
Elara is just beginning to learn what it means to be a dog in a home. She has had little to no training yet, so her new family should be prepared to start with the basics — house training, leash skills, basic manners, socialization, and learning how to settle in the home. Raising a puppy takes time, patience, consistency, and plenty of supervision. During this important developmental stage, she needs people who are home at least every two hours throughout the day for potty breaks, guidance, companionship, and opportunities to learn. Puppy classes are strongly encouraged, both for training and continued socialization. As she grows, her exercise and activity needs will increase, so her family should be prepared to provide regular walks, age-appropriate exercise, mental enrichment, and ongoing training as she matures. Elara is at the very beginning of her journey, and with the right guidance, she’ll have every opportunity to grow into a wonderful adult companion. (HH) Estimated adult weight is about 40+ pounds, no guarantees.

Story
I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog H:6Ezequiel is a 10-month-old boxer weighing 65 pounds. He is a sweet, sensitive puppy who's still learning that the world can be a safe place. Everything is a little overwhelming right now, but with patience and kindness, this gentle boy has all the potential to blossom into the happy, confident companion he's meant to be. He'll thrive with experienced adopters who can let him settle in at his own pace and celebrate the little victories along the way. A quiet adult home with a confident resident dog would be a wonderful fit, helping Ezequiel build confidence and discover all the joys of being a puppy. He would do best with appropriately matched dogs or as a solo dog with dog friends outside the home.         View this post on Instagram                       A post shared by Teixeira Training (@teixeira_training)  August 17, 2026, 3:49 am

Story
Hey there! I’m Ginny and I’m here to bring all the fun and silliness your way! I’m a playful, wiggly little ball of joy, always ready to bounce around and make you laugh. I might trip over my own paws sometimes (oops!), but that’s just part of my charm. I love to play, snuggle, and spend time with my favorite humans. I’ll need a little training to become the best girl I can be, but with my big heart and eagerness to learn, I’ll be by your side every step of the way. Ready for some fun? Let’s make some great memories together! Surf`s Up at SVACA! As part of the Clear the Shelters campaign, we will be reducing my adoption fee to $25 from August 1-31! For more information contact the Silicon Valley Animal Control Authority (SVACA) at 408-764-0344 or visit www.svaca.com.
