Hanna is a one-year-old boxer mix with so much love to share. She is a sweetheart who loves being with her trusted people. Since being found on the street four months ago, she has made tremendous progress. While still dealing with anxiety, she has grown much more confident in neighborhood walks and at the park. She loves interacting with other dogs and would thrive in a house with an older dog to follow and learn from. She has had 8 sessions with a trainer and is currently being crate trained for nighttime sleep. She can sit, leave it, and lay down. Given her anxiety, Hanna would benefit from living with an experienced owner who often works from home. House-trained and up-to-date on vaccines but not yet spayed. She currently lives with a 5 year old and is great with kids. But, she is the work of one, so perhaps better with a family who has time to give her!

Samson is a 4-year-old Pit Bull mix (we believe Pit bull / Lab), weighing 85–90 pounds. He is a playful, energetic dog who absolutely loves his ball. He enjoys running, playing, and being around people. He is also wonderful in the car. Very calm, gets in, and settles right down. Also very good with showers, hops right in and lets you wash him. Samson came into our family when he was just a puppy. My grandparents rescued him from a woman they encountered on the street. Unfortunately, my grandparents are now 82 years old and are no longer able to care for him, and due to circumstances in my own life, I have to move. The places I can afford either don’t allow pets or have restrictions that prevent me from keeping a dog of Samson’s size. Samson is currently being fostered by a family friend, however they are unable to help much longer. He is fixed and up to date on his shots. Thanks.
