Story
Description of pet Meet Kora — A Playful Boxer Beauty Ready to Find Her Forever Home Kora is a stunning 1.5-year-old Boxer, weighing about 40–45 pounds, with a playful spirit, a heart full of love, and a face that will melt you the moment you meet her. With her classic Boxer good looks, expressive eyes, and bouncy, joyful energy, Kora is ready to find the family she’s always deserved. Kora’s story started with hardship — she was found as a stray, and while we don’t know everything she’s been through, it’s clear she’s experienced a lot of change in her young life. Despite that rough beginning, Kora remains incredibly resilient. She’s full of personality, overflowing with affection, and is still very much a puppy at heart. At around 45 pounds, Kora is a perfect medium size — big enough to be your adventure buddy on walks, hikes, and car rides, but small enough to snuggle up comfortably on the couch. Her favorite things include chasing toys, exploring the outdoors, and being close to her people. Kora is currently making great strides in her house training and is learning that her crate can be a cozy, safe place. She’s eager to please, highly food-motivated, and just needs a family willing to invest a little time in helping her polish her manners. Formal training classes would be a wonderful outlet for her smart, willing mind — plus a great bonding experience for her and her future family. Kora is: Dog-friendly and enjoys the company of other dogs who match her playful energy Still working on her confidence with new experiences but is improving every day A great fit either as a solo dog soaking up all the attention or with canine companions in a structured, supportive home She would thrive in a family who can offer: Consistency and patience as she continues her training journey Daily exercise and playtime to match her energetic Boxer nature Tons of love and affection, because this girl is all heart True to her Boxer roots, Kora is loyal, silly, affectionate, and a little bit of a clown — she loves to make her people smile and will happily trade kisses for belly rubs. She's the kind of dog who will follow you from room to room just to be near you, always ready to brighten your day with her joyful spirit. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, affectionate best friend who is ready to embrace every day with you, Kora might just be the perfect match. She’s ready to leave her past behind and start her best chapter yet — could it be with you? Contact us today to learn more about Kora and schedule a meet and greet. Story
Fum is a very affectionate dog that loves life, the park, sitting on the grass, and sniffing flowers, you know the finer things. He is a moderate energy dog that likes taking walks, his training sessions, and enjoying his Kong toy with treats inside. Fum is well on his way to being a good trained dog. He is practicing commands like place and knows the commands sit and down. He is also crate trained and does well. Fum loves meeting other dogs under supervision and is eager to play and does well with cats. He has never interacted with children but his fosters believe he will do fine. Fum is neutered, up to date on all vaccines and chipped. All Better World Rescue dogs come with complimentary group or private training. If you're interested in Fum please fill out an application at www.betterworldrescue.org/adoption-application. A BWR volunteer will reach out.

If we need to look something up later and you used a different email we are often not able to find it. 2. Adopt a Pet and Petfinders ask you to send us an enquiry. This always delays our response. (Why) a. Our biographies are always very detailed. Therefore sending an enquiry asking us to repeat what it says in the biography causes a lot more work and delays our response. b. We are a small non-profit and do not always have the help to answer as many enquiries as we get. c. Again our Biographies are very detailed and if you just click the link near the bottom of their bio you can fill out an application which we will respond to. 3. For the AFC website (scroll down to the bio at the bottom it says (apply to adopt today- click that link) www.animalfriendsconnect.org 4. For Petfinders ( scroll down to the biography then click the adoption link) http://animalfriendsconnect.org/adoption-application-dogs/ 5. Story
Sadie, formerly known as Pig, has embarked on a new journey, returning to Animal Rescue Recon. We've secured a wonderful foster for her, but she's eagerly awaiting a forever home where she can thrive. Beautiful Sadie, a 1 year old Staffordshire terrier, is a stunning gem. She's crate trained, potty trained, and loves everyone she meets. Sadie is exceptional in the car and adores playing, but may require guidance on sharing toys and food with other dogs. As the only dog or with a secured trainer, she'll flourish. Sadie has been doing exellent out in public around people and other dogs and even enjoys playing with dogs at the dog park. Sadie is wonderful with children and is vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and ready to begin her next chapter of life.
