Denver currently lives in a home with another pup but would much rather be the only dog in the home. He is smart and a fast learner who is eager to make his people proud. He is highly food motivated, affectionate, and convinced despite his size he is still a lap dog. He knows commands such as sit, wait, down, paw (both), touch, and give kiss. He LOVES car rides and swimming so a bonus if your home has a pool! Denver loves to play fetch, run, or just bask in the Florida sunshine. He would love a home with a large, fenced yard. And if you’re looking for cuddles, Denver knows exactly what to do. Oh and watch out - his happy tail never stops wagging. :) He will not destroy your furniture or shoes so if you’re looking for a young pup without the hassle of puppy training, look no further! MAXX & ME PET RESCUE adoptable dogsEthan &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143. The first thing that drew us to Ethan was the dramatic and horrific injury he sustained from a deeply embedded collar. We knew he needed help. The recovery he has made on that front in such a short time is truly remarkable! (Before pics, update pics, and current pics included in this post!) Like most dogs who suffer tragic injuries, though, Ethan is soooooo much more than that part of his story. The moment you meet him, his charisma bowls you over. His bright, sparkling eyes and goofy smile are as endearing as can be. Throw in the underbite that causes his jowls to hang on his teeth and… well… goooood luck not having to grab him and smooch his face! It’s impossible not to! Ethan will be neutered soon and on the hunt for his forever family. We are currently processing applications for him! (If in the Tampa area, we can do a foster to adopt and allow him to join your family right away!) He will need a fenced yard to run and cut up in. He would prefer a friendly dog or pack to join so he can wrestle and run and play with them but we will also consider an active family committed to exercise and socialization who doesn’t have a dog already. Ethan loves children and people of all shapes and sizes. People = pets, treats, all the “good boys”, so he’s a big fan! In addition to them going to heaven, he believes all dogs were put on earth to play and rough house so a home with crotchety older guys won’t work. Ethan needs younger dogs who want to be a mentor and demonstrate good behaviors he can emulate but who can keep up with him as he attempts to break the speed record for yard courses and zoomies. He also has some boxer in him maybe so he’s handsy and bumps with his chest when he plays. We cannot say enough about this guy! Meet lovely, sweet Rose! She is such an affectionate, grateful, and happy girl. She loves playing fetch and she would have a toy in her mouth 24/7 if she could! She has the perfect pup smile and lights up any time you give her a head rub or pick up a toy to play with her. She would love a fenced in yard where she can run and play fetch with you. She loves going for walks and car rides. Sweet Rose loves to cuddle with humans and Iris on the couch (they might even lay on each other to get closer to you). She’s interested in cats but may scare them due to her excited nature. Meet beautiful Iris! She has a sweet, gentle nature and loves to play and wrestle with Rose. Iris needs a patient, understanding home with a predictable routine. She can be a little skittish in new or unfamiliar environments, but she has shown that she warms up to people rather quickly. She has the most expressive eyes and the cutest deer-tail (her little, excited tail wiggles are the best). She’s incredibly intelligent and learns quickly; she’d benefit from constant enrichment to build her confidence. Sometimes she’ll pick up a toy, look directly at Rose, and then run away, all because she wants Rose’s attention. She is potty trained, good with other dogs, and OK with cats.
