PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! 💕 Hi, I’m Lonnie 🐾💕 I’m a 5-month-old Boxer puppy with a big personality, tons of energy, and a whole lot of love to give! I’m playful, smart, energetic, and always ready for the next adventure. I love being near my people, so if you walk out of the room, don’t be surprised if I happily follow right behind you! 🥰 I’m house trained and crate trained, and I already know some commands. I’m doing great in my crate and can settle down nicely at bedtime. I’ll happily go to sleep when you do and can sleep through the night for up to 8 hours. I’m still working on potty training, but I understand that potty happens outside—I’m just learning how to let my humans know when I need to go. I’m a VERY energetic puppy and definitely need a family who can keep up with me! I get the zoomies and love to run and play, so a securely fenced backyard would be wonderful for me. I also enjoy playing with other dogs and would love a playful doggy sibling who can help me burn off some of that puppy energy. 🐾 Like many puppies, I’m still learning how to play politely. When I get really excited, I can be a little mouthy during play, but I’m improving and learning that gentle play is much more fun. I’ll need a family who is patient, consistent, and willing to keep working with me every day. I do well with big dogs and older cats, and because of my energy and enthusiastic play style, I’d do best with older children who can handle my puppy antics. My foster says I’m a sweet girl who just wants to love. I may not always show my cuddly side right away, but when I’m calm and sleepy, all I want is to snuggle up next to you. ❤️ Adoption FEE: $650 which includes her spay, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals. A Mercy Full Project (MFP) Adoption Application MUST BE COMPLETED in order for you to be considered as a potential adopter. By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. Story
Ophelia “Ophe” is the absolute sweetest dog. She is 13 years old but in great shape for her age. She loves to cuddle and is loyal to her bones. We are devastated to have to make the decision to rehome her due to our one year-old constantly bullying her. She deserves a more peaceful home in her last years and I hoping we can find someone that can give her the attention that she deserves.

Story
We adopted Paddy (then called Ted) from Friends of Strays. He was picked up by animal control living on the street. Best guess from the vet is he's about 18 months old. He is a wonderful dog and loves everyone and is great with other dogs. He enjoys cuddling and going to the dog park. He is crate trained by would rather sleep in bed with you or the kids. Paddy has all the normal silly boxer traits. He's goofy, scared of the vacuum and gets the zoomies. Unfortunately, my wife and I both have different jobs since we adopted him and have gone from working remote to in office work as well as frequent travel. He needs a family to give him lots of attention which he will return.

Story
Contact: Alisa8/21/2026 - Pablo is a sweet, gentle, affectionate boy whose perfect day is pretty simple: relaxing inside, curling up on the couch, and staying close to his people. He absolutely loves attention and will happily snuggle up beside you for as long as you let him. One of the cutest things about him is how much he smiles when he is getting pets, and when he gets really excited, he curls his whole body into what we have started calling his little “cheese curl.” Pablo is deaf, so he relies heavily on visual cues and being able to see where his people are. He loves sleeping in bed, lounging on the couch, following his people around the house, and generally being wherever you are. He is much more comfortable at home than out in the world right now. He is not currently a farmers market, brewery, or long-walk kind of dog. In unfamiliar outdoor environments, he can be hesitant and may stop, look around, or decide he would rather head back home. He needs someone patient who will let him build confidence at his own pace. He has done well using a fenced backyard for potty breaks and is happiest when his person comes outside with him. A quieter home with a fenced yard would probably suit him better than a busy downtown environment. When Pablo gets nervous, his response is to freeze, hesitate, or retreat rather than act aggressively. He has been incredibly gentle with people and really seems to come alive once he feels safe and knows he can settle in for some attention. As far as we can tell, he has not had much formal training and does not yet seem to know basic cues such as sit, stay, come, or look at me. Because he is deaf, he will need someone willing to patiently teach him a consistent set of hand signals. He would also benefit from continued work on confidence, being comfortable alone, and crate training. He is not especially food- or toy-motivated, although frozen dog ice cream and meatballs have definitely won him over. More than anything, his favorite reward seems to be being close to his people and getting affection. Because Pablo previously had a negative experience with other dogs, we believe a single-dog home would likely be the best fit for him. His history with cats is unknown. Pablo really is a loving homebody. He does not need an adventurous lifestyle. He needs a quiet, patient home, a comfortable couch, a safe yard, and someone who wants a very affectionate companion. If your perfect dog is a smiling little shadow who would rather spend Saturday morning curled up next to you than at the farmers market, Pablo may be your guy. ❤️ 7/30/2026 - Pablo is under our mandatory evaluation period, and is not available for adoption at this time. The foster home will have the opportunity to adopt once the evaluation period is complete.  If you would like to be a back-up applicant for Pablo, please complete an application at:   http://flbr.org/application-form/.  Please also take a look at his available boxer friends as we get to know him better. September 5, 2026, 2:52 pm
