Meet Mikey, a heartwarming pup whose journey began unexpectedly but led to a world filled with love. He was cherished by his previous owner since he was a wee 14-week-old pup. Now, due to his owner joining the military service, Mikey needs a new forever home. I'm fostering Mikey, and he's a dream. Unfortunately, I am only able to foster him for a short period. This sweet, cuddly dog is a pro at being house-trained and adores playtime with kids. He's fantastic with other dogs when introduced properly and loves both indoor snuggles and outdoor adventures. Mikey comes with his crate, all set for cozy nights or safe stays while you're out. He's a gentle soul overflowing with love, seeking a family to cherish. Meet Cookie! 🍪 Cookie was abandoned by her family not once but twice! She was first tied to a pole at a grocery store. A rescuer found her and saw that she was microchipped! We were so grateful to hear that the owners had "lost" their precious dog and Cookie was returned promptly. A few weeks later Cookie was found roaming the streets of Miami all alone! She was picked up by animal control and brought to a shelter in Miami. 😢 Luckily the same rescuer happened to see a post about Cookie being in the shelter and could not believe it! She rushed down there to pull her from the shelter to ensure that she never ends up on the streets again. Her previous owners discarded her twice and we will ensure Cookie never has to endure this heartache again 💔 Despite all of this turmoil, Cookie is extremely resilient. All she craves is love from her foster family. She is 9 years young, spayed, and fully vaccinated. She loves all people and is especially wonderful around children! We would prefer Cookie go to a home without other pets because we do not know her history with other animals, however, feel free to inquire if you think Cookie may mix well with your household. Cookie loves to go on walks, she loves to play, and she adores rolling around and making you laugh. She is completely house trained and loves to lounge around the house. 🐾 🏡 Please help us find Cookie this senior pup the happily ever after that she deserves! I make friends with everyone because I have a rock star personality and some say, good looks to match (sorry for bragging). I am a 4 year old Boxer / Black Mouth Cur mix who is eager to learn anything and everything for treats and toys. I love training and know lots of commands such as sit, down, leave it, stay and drop it. Not to toot my own horn but if you're looking for a dog to dominate the agility course, do dog sports or go on jogs with...I'm right here! My favorite games are tug-of-war, fetch and being chased. I dream of a home with a yard so I can run off some of my energy, and then I am content to rest and play with my toys. Logan came into our lives 8 weeks after he was born. He was welcomed during the same time we gave birth to our first son. Throughout the years, Logan has become a wonderful part of our family. Aggie is a very sweet boy, but he is shy in new places with new people. It takes him a couple days to warm up. In his foster home, he is super outgoing, playful and LOVES to cuddle on the couch with the other resident and foster dogs, or next to you. He loves to wrestle with other dogs or play tug-o-war with a stuffed animal. He is fully crate trained.  If you’re interested in adopting Aggie, you must own your own home, with a fenced in backyard. He is completely pootty trained. He will do best in a home with another active dog, to help bring out his confidence or in a home with not a lot of foot traffic (a couple or single person). He needs someone that is patient and will continue to work with him....Are you ready to meet this handsome boy? You can apply for Draco at www.ladyluckanimalrescue.org under the “Adopt/Foster” Tab. Draco is a sweet American Pitbull Terrier male puppy born approximately November 16, 2023. Draco was given to someone originally, but clearly he was not feeling good. A friend of theirs brough him to an Emergency Vet where it turned out he had the parvo virus. The vet treated him, but the original owners did not have to means to properly care for Draco and could not afford his bill. We were asked to step in and to take over his care. Draco is now happy and healthy and ready for his furever home! Draco is a sweet puppy that loves other dogs of all sizes and people of all ages. He would probably be fine with cats too. He loves toys and chewing on his bully sticks. He is not a high energy boy, he has a sweet and calm demeanor. He listens well and loves taking naps on the couch or in bed with you, and just prefers to be by your side at all times. He is crate trained and working on his potty training skills, he is almost there! If you’re interested in adopting Draco, you must own your own home with a fenced in backyard.
