Story
Brinkley's parents were not able to keep him so I am fostering him until he finds his forever home. He had a really rough start to life & while now happy & healthy & super sweet, prefers an aware/experienced handler. He would do best in a home without young children as he does startle with loud sounds or things hitting him unexpectedly. Brinkley appears to have been shot several times across him back legs & this causes his concern with loud sounds or things unexpectedly hitting his back-end. He has been thoroughly examined by my vet to ensure he has no bullets in him or lasting damage that would be causing him pain-luckily, he does not & received a gold star for being in pristine health. Brinkley was also skin & bones when rescued so he does like a consistent mealtime & can be a bit vocal whining if he feels dinner is late. He is wonderful walking on leash, non-reactive to anything he encounters. He prefers short walks and can do with or without yard time-he is generally a bit lazy.
