Story
A beautiful brindle seeking a good home. I am an intelligent, 6-year-old Boxer mix. I am lovable, love to snuggle and give handshakes for belly rubs. I have been a faithful emotional support doggie to a sweet lady. I am well-mannered and although I’ve done well living in an apartment for the last few years, I would love to have my own fenced yard if possible but at least a place to play sometimes. I enjoy going outside and do pretty good on a leash. I generally get along with most dogs and not aggressive. I’m just laid back and mild-tempered, but I get excited when it’s time to play.

Story
Meet Cricket, an 8-9 month old Heinz 57 mix who is sweet to her core and has enough energy to recharge a battery. Cricket came to us after a veterinary clinic reached out for help. She had gotten into medication and was temporarily blind. Sadly, her owner wanted to euthanize her because they could not care for her while she was blind. We took Cricket in, and within just a few days, she recovered her vision and has never looked back. As for what breeds make up Cricket? Your guess is as good as ours. She has a little Boxer, Great Dane, Pit Bull, and Lab look about her, but we are calling her a Heinz 57 because she is the best of all worlds. She weighs around 45 pounds and is still growing. Cricket is a true social butterfly. She loves people, other dogs, playing, being outside, toys, bones, and pretty much anything that involves being with her people. If you already have a dog, even better. Cricket thrives on companionship and would love a canine friend. She does have severe separation anxiety, so her ideal home would have a stay-at-home parent or someone who can be with her regularly. She needs a family willing to be patient, loving, and committed to helping her learn. Cricket is smart and eager to please, but she is still a puppy. That means zoomies, chewies, and plenty of learning are all part of the package. With consistency, patience, and good training, she is capable of becoming an amazing companion. And when playtime is over? Cricket is perfectly happy to curl up next to you, on you, or at your feet. As long as she is close, she will be flashing that big, joyful smile. If Cricket sounds like your kind of girl, please fill out an adoption application at: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FAY/Dog Applications can take 5-7 business days to complete. Please look for a confirmation email to make sure your application went through, and check your spam and trash folders for responses from us. We are located in Fayette County, GA and are a foster-based rescue without a shelter building.

Story
Big Boy is a young, medium‑size mixed breed dog who originally came from a family home in Alabama. He has lived around teen-age children and adults and has a naturally gentle, friendly temperament. He is medium‑energy, enjoys companionship, and responds well to reassurance and calm environments. He has recently gone through a stressful situation, but despite everything, he remains sweet, affectionate, and eager for stability. He has not shown aggression toward people or other animals. He would do well in a home that can offer consistency, patience, and love as he settles in. Adjectives that describe him: gentle, friendly, loyal, responsive, affectionate, and resilient. He is looking for a safe, stable home where he can feel secure and become part of a loving family.

Story
Carmella is 12 yrs old and loves belly rubs. Shes been a family dog for 11 yrs and I’ve had her for 6 yrs. Shes the most chilled sweet dog ever. She is house trained and loves to be outside to catch a tan lol. Carmella is a service dog. She sprayed and neutered. Her shots are up to date. She is scared of loud noises and especially scared of fireworks. She doesn’t likes to sleep outside or be outside for to long. She will bark until you let her in lol. Unfortunately It saddens me that I can no longer keep Carmella because my kids became allergic to Carmella. It hurts me to give her up because she’s my girl and I will miss her. I would feel more comfortable placing Carmella in a good home than in a shelters.
