Hi, I’m Lola! I’m a sweet, goofy girl. I can take a bit to warm up to someone new, but once I do, I will greet you with a piggy snort. I would love a home with no cats, dogs, or small children. A home with a yard would be fun as well! I love to run around and play. I would benefit from attending a class or private session from one of our recommended trainers, such as A Canine Story, to continue setting me up for success. I really can't wait to find her forever home and make new memories! Meet Jude.... she is a beautiful brown / black brindle female boxer mix. She is a sweet soul who wants to be where you are. She is very friendly and wants to meet and greet everyone (no one is a stranger). She can be a little shy at first meeting, but in no time she will determine if she can snuggle up and call you hers. Given her love of people, she does not like to be left alone. She will do best in a household where someone is home most of the day or she can travel with you. She is very very well behaved if she has a person with her. If she is alone she will find things to get into and will scratch and chew things. If left alone, she will need to be crated in a heavy duty, non-wire crate to keep her safe. She is using a crate in her foster home and does get anxious at first going in, but does settle down in 5-15 mintues. She is great with cats however she sometimes does try to chase them in a playful manner, but does really well when being called over to leave them be. She seems to know the "leave it" command. Jude is also good with other dogs, she is friendly and does the appropriate get to know you sniff but is not too intrusive. So, she would be fine in a house with other pets. Jude wants to believe she’s a lap dog. She'll make the lap thing happen! She gets very excited for food and would do best with a slow feeder to keep her from scarfing her food in 2 seconds. P.S. She’s super soft ! Come and meet Jude and pet her soft, sweet face for yourself.  ##943684##

Just one look at this guy and you can't help but wonder why he was given the name Chicken? We do not have a clue. He is a senior guy looking for a home to spend out the later years of his life with all the comforts that a loving home will provide. Chicken still has a good amount of energy, but at the end of the day, he would simply prefer to curl up in your favorite chair, if you will let him, or a plush dog bed. He would do best with older children and a quieter lifestyle since that is what he had in his prior home. Come meet this guy and check out his big soulful eyes. Marsha is a 7 year old boxer/ terrier mix weighing approximately 55#. Life hasn't been kind or easy for this girl. Being a street dog and surviving on her own for 3 plus years earned her the nickname Edwardsburg Pittie. Smart is an understatement when it comes to Marsha.    Marsha was safely live trapped in the middle of December. It took weeks before she let her guard down and trusted me. Early in her life she was a loved family dog. Sadly life changes caused her to be rehomed and that's all we know. Kira assured me with time she would come around. So here we are today getting ready for her next adventure.   Marsha is a great dog who will need slow intros to both people and dogs. Low energy, but does have moments of goofiness. Accepts pets and loves, but not a needy in your face dog. Gives kisses and leans into you for pets. Currently Marsha is living with multiple dogs of different sizes and personalities. She is excellent at coexistintg, but can be dog selective if they are in her space. No cats or rabbits. No kids. Needs to be fed separately from other dogs. A fenced yard is required.   Marsha loves her futon and spends her days gazing out the window. She is grateful for a warm home and a patient family. She is crate trained and completely housebroken. Walks great on a leash. We'll let you know if someone comes to the door.    Marsha has been fully vetted. Including a dental and had a mass removed.
