Betsy is a FUN dog who loves to be with other dogs, maternal and bouncy. She is not aggressive or bossy but does have a bark and her terrier DNA comes out when meeting new smaller dogs. She has spent most of her time with bigger dogs and enjoys being the 'shortie' of the playgroup. Betsy is not food motivated, nibbles through the day, but has managed to become a bit fluffy. 50 lb dog now, she loves car rides, water! and sunbathing. Betsy is spayed, up to date on vaccines and very health - a bit fluffy as she has matured, now 4 years old. Her breed had been a guess until now! a donated DNA test revealed the classic Houston mutt mix of American Pit Bull Terrier, Lab, Boxer, German Shepherd, Shar Pei, Chow Chow. She is a short dog with medium double coat and a sharp mind. Hi my name is Stan! I am a senior gentleman looking for my perfect home. I am very lucky to be out of the shelter and with my great foster family, who take care of me while I wait for adoption. I can be a little shy with new people, but when I get comfortable, I show everyone what a happy, sweet dog I am! She is very treat motivated and enjoys learning new things. She is living in a foster home with other dogs, and would love to be adopted into a home with another dog. She is working on house training and crate training. She is micro-chipped, spayed, and has started her puppy vaccines. Her adoption fee is just $225 dollars and includes a puppy socialization class.
