This is 4 year old Kane. He use to live in a motel with his family when they were evicted. Now, he is not able to do that. Kane is a very sweet boy that gets along with other dogs when properly introduced and is good with kids although he does like to jump. He has not been cat tested ,but just like my dogs and others, he can learn to like cats. Kane knows his basic commands and loves to play. But as you can tell from the pictures, he also loves to chill. He is in a temporary foster right now. Kane would love to find a foster to adopt or just be adopted so he can finally be home. No dog loves every other dog, just as humans do not like every other human they meet. A proper introduction (meet and greet) would be required as part of our application process. Journey has been at the rescue for close to 3 years! Despite his lengthy stay he has continued to be incredibly sweet and affectionate. He is not only friendly towards humans, but also plays well with other dogs, making him an ideal companion for a multi-dog household. He is playful - loves toys. Journey also enjoys meeting new people, always hoping that one of the new humans will take him home. It is hard to believe that this friendly guy has been in rescue for most of his life. Is it because he isn't as pretty as some other dogs? It certainly isn't because of his behavior.
