Story
Rehoming a Large, Loving Mixed-Breed Dog – 2 Years Old I’m looking for a new home for my dog due to a change in my living situation. This was not an easy decision and my priority is finding the right fit for him. • Age: 2 years • Weight: ~85 lbs • Personality: Very people-friendly, affectionate, energetic • Health: Healthy, strong, playful • Energy level: High — needs space and engagement He loves attention, playtime, and being around people. He would do best in a sin is 2 years old I have had him for 1 year. He is the friendliest loving dog, he loves belly rubs and playing. I need to rehome him because of a change in my living situation. Hutch is very energetic he has a lot of energy and needs to run daily. He is well behaved but sometimes gets to excited when greeting people as he likes to jump . He is not aggressive at all he just wants to play. The perfect home for him would have a fenced yard and some one who has time to play with him. He really is a fun loving dog.

Story
Ollie is a young, active boy who loves to run around with other dogs. He enjoys attention from people. He gets along great with kids too. He would love an active family where ample exercise and mental stimulation will be provided. He wouldn't mind cleaning the floor under a highchair as his full-time job. He is being trained to walk on leash using a gentle leader. He is the best at it and would love to show you how well he does! He has visited our local assisted living center and just wanted to hug all of the residents and staff he met. He wants to please and is a good listener and a very sweet boy.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Do you have tennis balls, like a lot of them, if not will you buy some? If your answer is yes than you might be the home for me! See I am simple girl but I do require lots of tennis balls!! I like other toys but nothing gets me as excited as having tennis balls! My foster says I am just a happy gal, that is good with all people even kiddos! I am house broken, but I may have had a couple accidents but I am still recovering from taking care of my 5 babies for the last several weeks. They all have found their forever homes and now it’s my turn. I was a great mom but my foster promised I never ever have to do it again, which sounds perfect to me! I really love my foster home. See, I also get alone time and have my own room, I have adults and kids who play fetch with me a few times a day. They all helped me get better on the leash, to come when I was called, I am actually even starting to learn how to settle down and watch TV. I would probably like to stay here but they have some big dogs here, I just don’t like when they get in my way. My foster thinks I will much prefer to be the only dog in a home.  I think that is true at least to start. The cats here don’t bother me. Did I mention my NEED for tennis balls, oh I did, okay. Well that’s all for now. Let lastdaydogrescue.org know if you want to meet me by filling out an application. &#226&#128&#139 &#226&#128&#139 Click here to watch a video of Pu Litter Eevee (Mom).Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by. December 5, 2025, 9:06 pm

Story
Calling all large-breed dog lovers 🐾💙 Meet Willie — a big-hearted, big-boned puppy who is growing up beautifully in his foster home. We expect Willie to mature around 100 lbs, likely a mastiff mix, and he already carries himself with that classic gentle-giant potential. Willie has had the benefit of stability and structure in foster care, and it really shows. He’s not just cute — he’s impressive. ✨ Willie’s Great Attributes: • Crate trained • Sleeps through the night • Potty trained • Super smart and eager to learn • A great playmate — he approaches play respectfully with shoulders down • Loves his chewy toys (a big plus for a growing pup!) ⚠️ Things to Know / Continue Working On: Willie will do best with an experienced, confident owner who understands large breeds and puppy development. • Shows some borderline aggression • Guards food and resources • Needs continued work on impulse control Because of this, Willie will thrive in a home committed to training, structure, and consistency — the kind of home that sees potential, not just challenges. With the right guidance, Willie has everything it takes to become a loyal, solid companion. If you’re someone who loves large breeds, believes in training, and wants to help shape a puppy into the dog he’s meant to be, Willie could be your guy. 👉 Apply to adopt Mr. Willie here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SMS/Dog Big dog, big future, big heart — Willie is ready for his next chapter. 🖤🐶

Story
From Theo’s foster mom….. This little ray of sunshine is Theo. He had a rough start in life but hasn't let that stop him from spreading love. He loves kisses, cuddles, blankets, and gathering his toys in his own little area. He has quickly learned he is a fan of pup cups, bed time treats and learning how to play tug of war. He loves running and hopping in the snow like a bunny but will let you know when it’s too cold and he is not going outside. He knows how to sit and is good with other dogs and cats. He's still working on house training, but it's pad trained and crate trained. He likes to go into his crate on his own and takes naps or quietly plays with his toys. At night he sleeps in one of our rooms on the bed. He's a really good boy and listens well.
