Story
Please welcome Avo to our family. Is this guy handsome or what? Detroit Animal Care and Control has him listed as a Boxer/Pit Bull mix. We’ll let the pictures of this stunning boy do all the talking, but here’s a little background on him. Avo is about 3 years old and weighs around 50 pounds. He is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, up to date on all vaccines, and current on preventatives. He is currently living in a foster home with an adult female dog and they get along great. His foster reports that he’s the “best boy,” and we believe it. Avo has quickly won over everyone he’s met with his sweet personality and handsome face. He’s also got some energy and would love a family that can help him burn some of it off with walks, playtime, or a fenced-in backyard where he can stretch his legs and have some fun.

Cheerio is sweet, roundly delightful, and guaranteed to start your day off right. Much like the cereal, he’s wholesome, dependable, and somehow makes everything better. This social, friendly guy believes everyone he meets is there for one reason: to admire him and give scratches immediately. He loves attention, loves pets, and would happily accept a full-time position as your personal cuddle supervisor. Cheerio isn’t just charm and good looks—he’s got manners too. He knows “sit” and takes treats gently. If your mornings (or afternoons…or evenings) could use more happiness, more laughs, and more lovable energy, Cheerio is ready to be the best part of your daily routine.

Story
Daisy is 57lbs and just turned 7 years old this month. She was transferred to us from another Rescue. She had been surrendered to them as a retired breeding dog. Dixie is small-ish for a boxer, very cute and compact. She is everything you want your boxer to be! Daisy is happy, social and friendly with everyone, other dogs included. Daisy really wants to find that boxer-loving retirement home where she can go for walks, car rides and just hang out with her people. We promised her she has landed in the right place and we will find that home for her. Can you help? All of her vet care has been updated including her spay and dental cleaning. adoption fee: 250 please contact us directly at: ohiosdrescue@gmail.com

Story
Meet Grace O’Malley ❤️ Grace is the kind of dog that makes you feel loved from the very first meeting. At around 4-5 years old, this beautiful pitbull mix greets everyone with a wagging tail, soft eyes, and a heart full of affection. She doesn’t hesitate to walk right up for pets and attention because being close to her people is truly her favorite thing. Grace is playful, strong, and full of life. She’s recently discovering the joy of fetch and is starting to really enjoy chasing after a ball. She’s also been working hard on her social skills at doggy daycare. While she can still be unsure around new dogs and gets excited on walks when she sees squirrels or other pups, she continues to make progress every day. In her foster home, Grace lives peacefully with a 20-pound dog and even a cat. She’s non-aggressive, loving, and happiest just being part of the family. Whether she’s relaxing in her crate while you’re away, curling up in your room at night, or following you around the house, Grace simply wants to be included and loved. We truly think Grace would thrive in many different types of homes — with children or without, with other pets or as the center of attention herself. What she wants most is a safe, loving family to finally call her own. Adult dogs like Grace are so special. What you see is what you get: loyalty, gratitude, companionship, and a dog who is ready to love with her whole heart. Could Grace O’Malley be your perfect match? 🐾
