I’m sad to be posting this but I’ve waited way too long and my girl deserves better. Zoey was rescued when she was about 8 months old and was brought into our home with another young dog and no kids. She did well for many years but one day decided she no longer wanted to play kindly with other dogs and so our house became divided. We’ve managed for years like this until our daughter was born. She has been around kids frequently and always did very well but played a little too hard with them. She thinks she’s 2lbs and not 50! She likes to jump and run and young kids cannot handle her. We’ve tried to get her to adjust to small children and after 10 months we’ve realized it’s just not going to happen. We’ve tried and tried but she deserves to be around lots of people, those that can handle her power! She is SO loving, gives the best cuddles, plays hard with endless energy and will notify you of any intruders unless she’s deep asleep in her king size bed. I want to see her happy and loved.
