Hi there, I'm Precious. They say that I am called this because I am the most precious dog here at God's Dogs Rescue. I came to the rescue in October of 2022 to have a safe place for me to have and raise my puppies. All my puppies were adopted by the end of January 2023, but I am still here looking for my furever home. I am a bigger girl, but this just means there is more of me to cuddle you, because I love cuddling it's one of my top 3 favorite things. 1) Food- I love food and will do almost anything you ask if you have a treat involved. 2) Cuddles- on your lap, on the couch, in the bed wherever there is a comfy space with pillows or a human I want to be there. 3) Kisses- I have a love of giving kisses to people, especially kids. Although not everyone likes it when I try to kiss them and that makes me sad. 4) Honorable mention- I like going on walks or in the car for a ride, although I prefer just lazing around at home. My current fosters say that I am a "house hippo with springs in my feet whatever that means; I just know sometimes, when I get super happy, I feel like I could fly- or jump really high. I love their kids and am very good with them even the tiny ones. I get along with most other dogs I meet, although I have a big personality about me, because I'm a boss, so sometimes other dogs don't like that about me. I tolerate cats although if they give me too much attitude or growl at me, I can't help but to give them piece of my mind. I like most new people I meet although I had a rough start in life so sometimes, I can be a little wary with men, with time though I adjust, and we can become best friends forever. A few more little details about me: I am 3 years old I am a Boxer/Shepherd mix I am great with kids I am good with Cats and Dogs I am crate-trained I am housebroken I can be adopted in Texas or anywhere in the US too! Daisy May has been blooming in our care, but she's still on the lookout for a forever home to plant her roots in! This delightful 5.5-year-old lady brightens up any place she's in with her adorable smile and goofy antics. If you can't tell from the photos, Daisy May is also a huge fan of peanut butter (and snacks in general!). She particularly takes pride in acting as a security guard against squirrels, keeping a sharp eye on the trees to make sure that none of them invade the house. When there's no squirrels threatening to breach the perimeter and no peanut butter jars to be seen, Daisy May is happy to go on leisurely walks in the neighborhood, romp around in the backyard, or to curl up for a nice long nap/cuddle session on the couch. Daisy May adores children, her friendly and gentle nature shining through each time she is around them. She doesn't mind the presence of other dogs and doesn't react to them, but she honestly would prefer to live in a home without other pups so that she can fully rest and relax whenever she'd like (a girl needs her beauty rest, after all...and plus, she wants all the peanut butter for herself). As if she needed another positive mark on her report card, Daisy May also has wonderful manners and is fully housebroken! Wyat is a sweet and loving dog. He loves a good spot for napping, blankets in the winter and t-shirts or sweaters. He is non-destructive. He is good with other dogs. Walks nicely on a leash but needs guidance/space when encountering other dogs on walks. We really love him and his sweet personality. Not aggressive in any way to people and actually loves to meet new people. Will greet them with a bark, sniff, full body wag and then go lay down. He has basic commands like sit, shake, down, off, leave-it and “got out of here” lol. Sleeps most of the day but very athletic and fast outside. Would love a fenced yard but not a deal breaker. His favorite food is peanut butter but would not turn down whipped cream or any dropped food. He is patient and good with kids, including babies. Is very gentle when taking offered food. He is ready to be one your new best friend.
