Missy was adopted as a pup from our local shelter in 2016 and the adopter never got her back for her spay. Fast forward to March 2018, and we got the call about her and two other dogs ( we are unsure if they were her pups or what) chained outside, and being subject to pellet guns and who knows what else. We rescued all three. The other two have long been adopted but sweet Missy is still hunting her forever home. She walks well on a leash, good with other dogs of all ages, and is still happy and spunky.

Due to recent various life events, I have lost my housing. I am also moving (flying) across the country to help family due to my son's military deployment. I am in desperate need to rehome my sweet 6 year old 50lb dog, who is spayed and up to date on her rabies vaccine. She has been a loyal companion to me for 5 years, and I am devastated to say goodbye, but I know there is a good home out there for her. Roz just needs food (she'll sit and shake for treats), water, love, and someone to throw a ball so she can fetch it. Please understand that I have spent a great deal of time and effort reaching out to every resource I possibly can. I've asked everyone I know personally. I have exhausted all of my options. This is an emergency situation for my dog. She needs a home immediately. Please help if you can. Thank you so much for your time and consideration.

We adopted Peach from the Gaston Animal Shelter in March 2025 when she was 3 months old. She is now 16 months old. We would like to find her a home where she can be more active. Our schedules have changed and make it hard to spend the time with her that she deserves. She is crate trained, potty trained and has some formal training (sit, wait, down, etc.) Peach is active, fun loving and goofy. She is a lap dog and loves to be around her family.
