Size: approx 35-40lbs. Training: leash trained, crate trained, doing great with housetraining. She knows sit and down, and is eager to please. Good with dogs/cats? Yes to dogs, unsure about cats. Good with men/women/kids? Georgia can be shy/reserved when meeting new people/new situations, but she warms up. She is very food motivated! Personality: Georgia is playful, friendly, and loving. She is very loyal. Georgia was rescued from a kill shelter after being surrendered by her owners. She would do best with a fenced yard or a place to run off leash. When on a leash, she coughs/hacks. It is the only time she does it. We walk her on a harness but haven't found one that doesn't press on the throat area. After a visit to our vet, our vet believes Georgia has scar tissue in her throat from something in her past. It doesn't affect her at all but because of this, we believe a fenced yard or a safe area to run off leash is best for her. Reason for rescue: rescued from kill shelter. Georgia is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and current on vaccinations and preventatives. Working on leash manners, but totally manageable. This guy is SO gentle and sweet! Very docile personality. Does get that burst of puppy energy when he wants to play and may pick up the occasional shoe or sock, but is learning “leave it” and very responsive to corrections. Overall, Romeo is a super laid back, goofy boy. He LOVES to cuddle, just adores hugs and kisses, will come right up and bury his face in your arms/lap or rest his head on you (see photos). Learning basic commands and doing really well with potty training - he rings his doggy doorbell and hasn’t had an accident in 2 weeks! Does well in crate & loves car rides. Bathes easy. Just overall super easy going baby!

Hi, My name is Bruno! I am a 68lb. pitty boy, born 6/28/2018. My previous owners didn't want me anymore, so they tied me to the fence near the rescue! These nice people took me in and have shown me love and made sure I was ok. I love everyone here at the rescue, but I am ready to find my forever home. I don't don't much like most other dogs through the kennel fences here, but I may do better in a different setting. I do alert to kitty cats and may do best as an only pet. I have such a large and loving personality, I am the only one you need; I promise. I am an excellent walking companion and will have you laughing and smiling when you spend time with me. I have a huge grin I like to show off myself.  I have been known to be a stealth kisser - I am really affectionate.  I love to play ball and have epic zoomies when I get excited.  I know basic commands like sit, stay, lay, and paw. I am a volunteer favorite. Please ask, they will be happy to gush about all of my fine qualities as an exceptional gentleman. Meet Stormy! This little mixed 2 year old girl, weighing 22 lbs. was rescued by one of our previous pups. Beauty was always barking at a storm drain and her Mommy could not figure out why. Well one day out popped Stormy from inside of the storm drain ( hence the name Stormy) She was brought to us a little under weight, but it did not take her long to gain it as she loves to eat. She can be a little diva at times, she thinks she is as big as a Great Dane, but she is also very loving and loves climbing into a lap.  She like her treats and toys, and attention from her humans. She is house trained, leash and crate trained. She has been spayed, dewormed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and ready to go to her forever home.
