Story
Aside from my obvious good looks, I wanted to share a little about myself in the hopes of finding my forever home. I have been here at the shelter since January. First, I am NOT toy aggressive! My informal diagnosis is that I am a little OCD regarding toys. I LOVE them all. My favorite thing to do these days is to have someone gather as many toys as they can carry and then throw them in all directions... I also like to carry one of my favs while on a walk. I would make an excellent sled puller but I do walk better with a training collar. I know several commands like sit, stay, lay down and shake but I just have too much energy to burn. My ideal day would include a hike or maybe running along with a bike ride. Then I would like to try one of those pup-cups I hear about. I would LOVE to visit a Petsmart and pick out my very own toy(s)... I just need a safe place to stash them all and a family to call my own.

Story
Whiskey is a miracle dog. He had a condition in his back legs which caused him to be unable to walk. He was rescued despite what many thought was a hopeless task to rehabilitate him. After months of loving vet and foster care, Whiskey can walk! He needs a little help with a back leg harness, and he is not going jogging with you, but he can go for short walks. He is wonderful with people, loves children, and is good with other dogs so long as introductions are done slowly. He is smart and knows "sit, come, and (mostly) stay." Story
Mitzi does very well in an environment that has other friendly dogs. She plays, does not bark or growl and is very enthusiastic. She enjoys running, fetching, and chewing on hard chews. She is VERY treat motivated and enjoys hard treats as well as soft treats. She loves running around outside and shaking her toys back and forth while running in circles. She is very affectionate and is people friendly. She is a bit shy in high traffic areas (such as stores or parks) but does not bark or growl at people. She doesn't like to be separated from her human and will whine and yip for a bit if crated/separated. She does eventually settle down and will likely do very well with a routine. She is housebroken. She has a very friendly and open playstyle with my dog at home. She “dances” and “bows” and does not bite hard/latch on when playing. She does give kisses and loves to snuggle. If you sit on the floor she will crawl into your lap and kiss your face. She is an incredibly sweet girl and is very smart and would be easy to train.

Story
Sweet Bea, a three year old boxer mix, who came to the shelter heart worm positive, with pyometra, and just in bad shape. She was immediately spayed, just finished up her heartworm treatment and is ready to start looking for the family that she so deserves to love her. Bea is very human friendly, loves everyone she meets and loves to play. We would suggest older children since she is very playful and large enough to knock down and accidentally hurt a small child. She does need to be the only dog. She gets aroused around new dogs to the point she turns to aggression. If Bea looks like the girl for you, please read our procedures and fill out the on line application, link attached below. 1. on line application 2. vet and reference check 3. phone call 4. home visit 5 meet and greet 6. adoption We will travel up to two hours to do home checks. We also truly feel the dogs in our rescue have been through enough. We take in those who are injured, abused, neglected, sick, and abandoned. That being said we search for a home that they are never put in that position again and that fits their personality and needs the best. No more hurt or fear. https://cliffordsarmyrescue.com/1423-2/
