Story
Joe is a shy, very gentle pet. However, he is a great watch dog. We saw him chase a coyote off our property once. We found him as a pup under our tractor. He does not like loud noises or scolding. He never bites. We are elderly and have to move into senior housing so we cannot keep him. If we cannot find him a home soon we will have to put him down.

She is very sweet. Very good car rider. Lots of energy. Might do okay with other dogs but my dog doesn't like her. She does know basic commands. I don't mind helping getting her fixed before you adopt. She is a stray. Animal control has never made it out to get her and all the shelters are full. I really can't keep her much longer.

Lady came to us. One day I was letting our other 2 dogs into the house and she just followed them. She went in every room, properly giving it a good sniff, went into the living room and plopped down! She’s been a good pet. She’s healthy and has had all her vaccinations and has been spayed. She knows a few commands. She’s really an outside dog but she thinks she’s an inside lap dog!!! She tries to get in your lap for more loving. I have trained her not to do that to me, but my husband lets her try. Never saw her snap at anyone, except her best friend, Queenie, when they are playing. Hate to lose her, but we are moving into senior living and cannot take her. She comes with her own dog bed and big dog bed. (Give me a few days, please. My email is down.)

She is not fond of a collar or leash, but loves to go! Mabel deserves a loving family that will include her in their daily life!

This sweetheart is Rosie! Rosie is an approximately 4.5-year old female Boxer / Pit Bull mix and currently weighs 50 lbs. Rosie is a very playful, loving cuddly! She needs another playful and active dog in the household. Would love a home where she is included in activities. Rosie doesn't really show her true personality at events but she is a very charming young lady. Rosie needs a stockade fenced back yard to run and play in. She can be quite shy at first, but once she is comfortable with the situation, her outgoing and social personality comes out! She is crate, leash and housetrained. Rosie does require a prescription diet for crystals in her urine so she may have accidents occasionally. And the cost of her special food needs to be in the budget for her needs. Rosie is spayed, current on vaccines, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250. This handsome gentleman is Cappy! Cappy is an approximately 15-month old male Boxer/Pit Bull mix who weighs around 55 lbs. He was rescued as a stray off the streets of OKC. Cappy is such a happy, friendly and playful dog! He doesn't know a stranger. He loves to throw his toys up in the air and play with them. Cappy adores people so he would probably be fine with kids. Cappy would love a home where is included in activities, given plenty of exercise, and attention. He needs a securely fenced back yard and requires a home check. He seems to like other dogs but does play a bit rough and can come on a bit strong to other dogs. He needs to meet all the dogs in the home prior to adoption. Cappy is in boarding and plays with higher energy dogs there. Since he is in boarding, he qualifies as foster-to-adopt or just as a foster dog. He seems okay in a crate, we don't know if he is house-trained since he is in boarding. He is good on a leash with a harness!
