Story
Meet Mutt - your future furry best friend! This one-year-old bundle of joy is the perfect addition to any loving home. Weighing in at around 35 lbs, Mutt is the ideal size for cuddles and playtime. Mutt is a well-behaved, house, and kennel-trained pup who's been doing a great job with leash training. He's looking for a forever home with someone who can continue to reinforce his good behavior and continue his leash training journey. This medium-energy marvel is a social butterfly and gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. He's a true "pawsome" playmate and would adore having a doggy friend to frolic with. Mutt is no stranger to the dog park, where he thrives while playing with his buddies. However, Mutt's love for feline friends is not as strong, so he's seeking a cat-free home. While he hasn't lived with kids before, he should do just fine in a home with respectful children who understand how to interact with dogs. Mutt is a ton of fun and adores playtime. He's always ready to drag out his toys and engage in a spirited game of tug of war with his furry pals. Don't miss out on the opportunity to give Mutt the loving home he deserves. He's the perfect companion for an active, dog-loving household. Ready to make memories and share adventures with Mutt? Come meet him today and let the good times roll! He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and preventatives, heartworm negative, and microchipped. You can send inquiries to our director of adoptions at muttmisfitsadoptions@yahoo.com or apply to meet / adopt at www.muttmisfits.com/adoption-application!

Story
Tucker is a fun loving, happy pup!  He’s shy at first but warms up quickly and then he is full of adventure and life!  He has a smile that is contagious. He is crate trained and house broken. He does well on a leash and knows basic commands. He does well riding in the car. Tucker likes being around children, and he is gentle. He is trained to not jump up. He loves other dogs and will play, chase, and wrestle for hours!  He likes to chase cats, but cats don’t seem to like that very much.  Chickens and ducks are just snacks to him, so maybe a home without chickens or a really secure chicken coop would be best. He’s incredibly sweet, loves belly rubs, back scratches, snuggles, and (of course) TREATS!  He’s a good boy who is hoping to find his new best friend. ##1590437##

Story
Carl is an approximately 8-year old male Boxer mix and weighs around 65 lbs. He was rescued after being abandoned on the streets of OKC. Carl was very confused about how he ended up in boarding, but he has made great progress. He has started playing with the techs there and loves to run around in the clinic yard. He would love a home where he is included in activities and made a part of the family. He is a “rough” player and would do best as an only dog or with a submissive dog, so if there are other dogs in the home, he will need to meet them prior to adoption. Carl would be an awesome companion for the right person. Very loyal. He would not be a good choice for a home with children under 12 or cats. He is simply a senior guy looking for his final home. Carl does not like crates, but will crate. He is good on a leash and would love a home where he can walk with you. We don’t know if he is house-trained but he does keep a clean kennel in boarding. He is neutered, current on vaccines, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $225. Since he is in boarding, he qualifies as a foster to adopt, or just a foster. See Kim or Michelle for more information about fostering. To foster Carl, go to www.foreveryoursokc.org/foster-application. To adopt Carl, go to www.foreveryoursokc.org/adoption-application.

This sweetheart is Rosie! Rosie is an approximately 3.5-year old female Boxer / Pit Bull mix and currently weighs 50 lbs. Rosie is a very playful, loving cuddly! She needs another playful and active dog in the household. Would love a home where she is included in activities. Rosie doesn't really show her true personality at events but she is a very charming young lady. Rosie needs a stockade fenced back yard to run and play in. She can be quite shy at first, but once she is comfortable with the situation, her outgoing and social personality comes out! She is crate, leash and housetrained. Rosie does require a prescription diet for crystals in her urine so she may have accidents occasionally. And the cost of her special food needs to be in the budget for her needs. Rosie is spayed, current on vaccines, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $225. If you are interested in adopting Rosie, please go to www.foreveryoursokc.org/adoption-application to apply.

Story
This handsome gentleman is Cappy! Cappy is an approximately 15-month old male Boxer/Pit Bull mix who weighs around 55 lbs. He was rescued as a stray off the streets of OKC. Cappy is such a happy, friendly and playful dog! He doesn't know a stranger. He loves to throw his toys up in the air and play with them. Cappy adores people so he would probably be fine with kids. Cappy would love a home where is included in activities, given plenty of exercise, and attention. He needs a securely fenced back yard and requires a home check. He seems to like other dogs but does play a bit rough and can come on a bit strong to other dogs. He needs to meet all the dogs in the home prior to adoption. Cappy is in boarding and plays with higher energy dogs there. Since he is in boarding, he qualifies as foster-to-adopt or just as a foster dog. He seems okay in a crate, we don't know if he is house-trained since he is in boarding. He is good on a leash with a harness! Cappy is neutered, current on vaccines, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $225 To adopt Cappy, go to www.foreveryoursokc.org/adoption-application to apply. Story
Meet Fitz! He is 3 years old and 70 pounds. He came to us when he was only 5 weeks old and was witness being attacked by a much larger dog. He suffered a skull fracture as a result of the attack but fully recovered! He is neutered, up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, heart-worm negative, and micro-chipped! Fitz is your typical dog. He has no lasting effects from his attack and loves life and everything it has to offer. Fitz LOVES playing with his foster siblings and would love to have an active home to keep him entertained. Fitz also attends doggy daycare and absolutely loves going to play with all the other doggos! He also lives with cats and does just fine with them. Fitz is house and kennel trained. Fitz loves little kids and is great with them. He has lived his life with females, so he will take a little extra time to warm up to males in the home, but given patience and understanding he will be a quick sell! He encounters men at daycare and does great with them. Since he’s been in a foster home for so long, Fitz will need a patient adopter that understands he will need a little time to acclimate to his new surroundings – he just may be a little unsure at first. He also moonlights as a doggie model and will happily let you dress him up. He knows he looks good! Attending daycare has kept Fitz very socialized around other dogs, so he really hasn’t ever met a 4 legged stranger. He is a super happy go lucky boy that just wants to swim and play and have a good time. Fitz has been in foster care far too long and we would like nothing better for him to get his happily ever after! You can send inquiries to our director of adoptions at muttmisfitsadoptions@gmail.com or apply to meet / adopt at www.muttmisfits.org/adoption-application

Story
Meet Luca! He is a little over a year old and around 45-50 lbs of fun! Luca is the most gorgeous white and brown pitty mix babe — he’s practically model material! When he’s not checking himself out in the mirror, practicing poses for his Facebook posts, he likes to play in the yard with the other dogs in his foster home or just snuggle up with his foster mom to watch Netflix! Luca is house and kennel trained. He knows sit and down (and is working on roll over) and prefers to be rewarded with treats when he gets in his kennel (who doesn't?). He’s food motivated, which has been great for training! He has been working on leash training and is learning quick but would do great with a person or family that can help him keep learning. Luca is a friendly guy and enjoys meeting new people. He has also loved car rides and getting to hang out at a local brewery or patio. He is good with other dogs and interested in cats to the point where he wants to play with them and chase them but not harm them. He is also good with older kids, but has not been around young kids. This playful, sweet boy has so much to offer a person or family that can give a rescue dog the time and patience needed to settle into a new home and learn a new routine! You can send inquiries to our director of adoptions at muttmisfitsadoptions@gmail.com or apply to meet / adopt him at www.muttmisfits.com/adoption-application Luca is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped. He doesn't have any special needs or take any medications. His adoption fee is $150.

Story
Mandi Sue better known as “Baby” is a 50 lb 1 year mystery mix, maybe American Pit Bull Terrier with some boxer in there too. She has the cutest underbite and expressive ears. Baby was rescued from euthanasia after arriving to a shelter with significant leg injuries. She received immediate medical care and now rocks the tripod life! She is a big baby that loves giving kisses, snuggling, squeaky toys and naps. She does well with children and is loving and protective with the sweetest spirit. Baby is housebroken and crate trained and has good leash manners. She will be a devoted companion to her family. Mandi had bloodwork at her vet visit. Interested in becoming a forever home for Baby? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws. We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Badger and Damascus. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Badger and Damascus the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us. Our adoption fee is $525 This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, and flea and tick prevention. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
