Story
Tucker is a fun loving, happy pup!  He’s shy at first but warms up quickly and then he is full of adventure and life!  He has a smile that is contagious. He is crate trained and house broken. He does well on a leash and knows basic commands. He does well riding in the car. Tucker likes being around children, and he is gentle. He is trained to not jump up. He loves other dogs and will play, chase, and wrestle for hours!  He likes to chase cats, but cats don’t seem to like that very much.  Chickens and ducks are just snacks to him, so maybe a home without chickens or a really secure chicken coop would be best. He’s incredibly sweet, loves belly rubs, back scratches, snuggles, and (of course) TREATS!  He’s a good boy who is hoping to find his new best friend. ##1590437##

Story
This sweetheart is Rosie! Rosie is an approximately 4.5-year old female Boxer / Pit Bull mix and currently weighs 50 lbs. Rosie is a very playful, loving cuddly! She needs another playful and active dog in the household. Would love a home where she is included in activities. Rosie doesn't really show her true personality at events but she is a very charming young lady. Rosie needs a stockade fenced back yard to run and play in. She can be quite shy at first, but once she is comfortable with the situation, her outgoing and social personality comes out! She is crate, leash and housetrained. Rosie does require a prescription diet for crystals in her urine so she may have accidents occasionally. And the cost of her special food needs to be in the budget for her needs. Rosie is spayed, current on vaccines, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250. If you are interested in adopting Rosie, please go to www.foreveryoursokc.org/adoption-application to apply.

Story
Meet Hercules Edgar — a gentle giant with a heart of gold. At around 12 years old and 70 pounds, this handsome pit bull mix has truly mastered the art of enjoying life’s simple pleasures. Hercules is incredibly sweet, always ready to lean in for scratches and soak up all the affection you’re willing to give. His favorite place to be? Outside, stretched out in the warm sunshine, completely at peace. Hercules is a social boy who loves spending time with people and gets along well with other dogs. Whether he’s lounging by your side or happily accepting a tasty snack, he’s just grateful to be near his humans. After losing his previous owner, Hercules found his way to us and is now searching for a loving home to spend his golden years. He doesn’t ask for much—just a cozy place to rest, some sunshine, a few treats, and someone to remind him every day that he’s loved. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a calm spirit and a whole lot of love to give, Hercules Edgar is ready to be your best friend. *He is special needs due to him needed joint medication* Interested in becoming a forever home for Hercules? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws . We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and appreciate you working with us.For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process. Our adoption fee is $75. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public in Oklahoma. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!

Story
Meet Fitz! He is 4 years old and 70 pounds and full of fun and adventure! Fitz is your typical dog. He has no lasting effects from his attack and loves life and everything it has to offer. Fitz LOVES playing with his foster siblings and would love to have an active home to keep him entertained. Fitz also attends doggy daycare and absolutely loves going to play with all the other doggos! He also lives with cats and does just fine with them. Fitz is house and kennel trained. Fitz hasn't lived with children but would likely do just fine with older kids that know how to respect their dog friends. He has lived his life with females, so he will take a little extra time to warm up to males in the home, but given patience and understanding he will be a quick sell! He encounters men at daycare and does great with them. Since he’s been in a foster home for so long, Fitz will need a patient adopter that understands he will need a little time to acclimate to his new surroundings – he just may be a little unsure at first. He also moonlights as a doggie model and will happily let you dress him up. He knows he looks good! Attending daycare has kept Fitz very socialized around other dogs, so he really hasn’t ever met a 4 legged stranger. He is a super happy go lucky boy that just wants to swim and play and have a good time. Fitz has been in foster care far too long and we would like nothing better for him to get his happily ever after! You can send inquiries to our director of adoptions at muttmisfitsadoptions@gmail.com or apply to meet / adopt at www.muttmisfits.org/adoption-application His adoption fee is $150. He is neutered, up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, heart-worm negative, and micro-chipped!
