I have full custody of my four kids, my ex wife brought this dog and one other into our marriage without even giving me a heads up. Story
Carl is an approximately 8-year old male Boxer mix and weighs around 65 lbs. He was rescued after being abandoned on the streets of OKC. Carl was very confused about how he ended up in boarding, but he has made great progress. He has started playing with the techs there and loves to run around in the clinic yard. He would love a home where he is included in activities and made a part of the family. He is a “rough” player and would do best as an only dog or with a submissive dog, so if there are other dogs in the home, he will need to meet them prior to adoption. Carl would be an awesome companion for the right person. Very loyal. He would not be a good choice for a home with children under 12 or cats. He is simply a senior guy looking for his final home. Carl does not like crates, but will crate. He is good on a leash and would love a home where he can walk with you. We don’t know if he is house-trained but he does keep a clean kennel in boarding. He is neutered, current on vaccines, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $250. Since he is in boarding, he qualifies as a foster to adopt, or just a foster. See Kim or Michelle for more information about fostering. To foster Carl, go to www.foreveryoursokc.org/foster-application. To adopt Carl, go to www.foreveryoursokc.org/adoption-application.

Story
This sweetheart is Rosie! Rosie is an approximately 4.5-year old female Boxer / Pit Bull mix and currently weighs 50 lbs. Rosie is a very playful, loving cuddly! She needs another playful and active dog in the household. Would love a home where she is included in activities. Rosie doesn't really show her true personality at events but she is a very charming young lady. Rosie needs a stockade fenced back yard to run and play in. She can be quite shy at first, but once she is comfortable with the situation, her outgoing and social personality comes out! She is crate, leash and housetrained. Rosie does require a prescription diet for crystals in her urine so she may have accidents occasionally. And the cost of her special food needs to be in the budget for her needs. Rosie is spayed, current on vaccines, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250. If you are interested in adopting Rosie, please go to www.foreveryoursokc.org/adoption-application to apply.

Story
This handsome gentleman is Cappy! Cappy is an approximately 15-month old male Boxer/Pit Bull mix who weighs around 55 lbs. He was rescued as a stray off the streets of OKC. Cappy is such a happy, friendly and playful dog! He doesn't know a stranger. He loves to throw his toys up in the air and play with them. Cappy adores people so he would probably be fine with kids. Cappy would love a home where is included in activities, given plenty of exercise, and attention. He needs a securely fenced back yard and requires a home check. He seems to like other dogs but does play a bit rough and can come on a bit strong to other dogs. He needs to meet all the dogs in the home prior to adoption. Cappy is in boarding and plays with higher energy dogs there. Since he is in boarding, he qualifies as foster-to-adopt or just as a foster dog. He seems okay in a crate, we don't know if he is house-trained since he is in boarding. He is good on a leash with a harness! Cappy is neutered, current on vaccines, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $250 To adopt Cappy, go to www.foreveryoursokc.org/adoption-application to apply. Story
Scoobie was a homeless dog who ended up on my porch with my granddaughter. Posted him on lost pets, no response. He is a senior dog who had some hip issues when he came. I started him on glucosamine mix and it has helped immensely. He has a doghouse on my front porch. He loves EVERYONE. Kisses and more kisses. The mailman, the police, and everyone loves Scoobie. He is a gentle giant. He does good with even small dogs as long as they dont look like rabbits. If I didn't already have my own babies, I would house him for the remainder of his life. HE is just an old soul and is grateful for all the treats and love He acquires. ADOPTION FEE can be applied to Scoobies up to date shots with verification through vet who offers 1st visit free so you only pay for shots and care. .

Story
Meet Ducky, a 4-almost-5-month-old ham. If you're looking for fun... you just found it. Ducky is everything you love about a playful puppy—curious, energetic, and always ready for the next adventure. Whether it's a game of tug-of-war (her absolute favorite), chasing toys, or stirring up a little puppy chaos, Ducky is all in. She walks well on a leash, is quiet and well-mannered in her kennel until she needs to go potty, and is making great progress with her training—she just needs a consistent schedule and continued guidance to keep her on track. And when the zoomies are over? Ducky crashes just as hard as she plays, happily curling up for a well-earned cuddle and nap with her people. She's a total people-lover who thrives on attention, affection, and being part of whatever you're doing. Dog-friendly and full of personality, Ducky brings joy and laughter wherever she goes. If you're ready for a fun-loving companion who will keep you smiling, keep you moving, and then snuggle up when the day is done—Ducky is your girl.
