Crosspost Looking for a great family dog? Pippin is a happy, healthy one yr old boxer mix. He is vaccinated, neutered, and heartworm negative.  He's a nice medium size around 40 pounds. This handsome fella is great with people and gets along ok with the dog and cat in the foster home.  They do feed him separately to avoid any issues with food guarding. He is housetrained with a dog door . He loves to play fetch, chase squirrels, and play with kids. He lis a snuggler, and loves to be petted. We have a fostering to adopt program to make sure the pet is a good fit for your family. Please research this breed of pet before considering foster / adopting. First submit an application. Once the application has been reviewed and approved. You will be contacted for an interview. You will need to submit veterinary references and contact information of your current Vet. A home check may be conducted. Foster / Adopters must have a fenced in yard. Once approved an appointment will be set up to meet the pet. If approved then the Foster to Adopt application will be signed by both parties. We will need original signatures. Duke, loves to play ball, he will play ball as long as he has someone to throw it for him. He needs someone who will give him attention and play with him. He keeps a clean crate. Would not be good with another dog who wants to play ball. Needs to be the only dog.

Tucker is a fun loving, happy pup!  He’s shy at first but warms up quickly and then he is full of adventure and life!  He has a smile that is contagious. He is crate trained and house broken. He does well on a leash and knows basic commands. He does well riding in the car. Tucker likes being around children, and he is gentle. He is trained to not jump up. He loves other dogs and will play, chase, and wrestle for hours!  He likes to chase cats, but cats don’t seem to like that very much.  Chickens and ducks are just snacks to him, so maybe a home without chickens or a really secure chicken coop would be best. He’s incredibly sweet, loves belly rubs, back scratches, snuggles, and (of course) TREATS!  He’s a good boy who is hoping to find his new best friend. ##1590437##

Story

King has been through a lot in his short life. He has had multiple homes. He has been rescued off of the streets more than once. His last owners abandoned him when they moved so we rescued him again. He was also heartworm positive and we have had him treated for that, which was also rough on him. He is the sweetest guy after everything he has gone through and loves a good couch snuggle. We made a promise to him that we will find him the perfect home and it is out there! Because of his restricted activity while he was going through heartworm treatment and having to be a single dog during that time, we will want to do slow introductions with other dogs. Cats are unknown.
