Story
Mac Daddy is an absolutely wonderful dog! We got him when he was 8 weeks old. He is 4 years old now. I have kids ranging in age from 10-21 now and my youngest was 6 when we got him. I have four grandkids who are 3, 3, 2 and 1 and he has been wonderful with all of them. He has done well anytime we have brought another animal into the home. He is a FAMILY dog! I cannot stress that enough. He needs a family. He is super sweet and loving. He is amazing with my older dog, cats and pig. He loves to play and be in the back yard. He is an escape artist though. However, he is anxious. He has severe social anxiety outside of the walls of our home. He is also a big protector. We have to rehome him or he risks euthanasia which isn't fair at all. We are devastated that we have to find a new home for him. He needs an experienced adopter who can help him with his anxiety. He is purebred (no papers) but my father-in-law bred the mom and dad. He is in-tact and up-to-date on his vaccinations.

Peggy is a love-able puppy. She jumps with excitement every time she sees you! She likes to bathe in the sun and explore the outdoors. She gets a long fine with any animals that has been around her thus far i.e. other dogs and a goat. Peggy will make someone an extraordinary companion as she is very loyal and loving. I hope Peggy finds the right home for her, where there is plenty of space for her to roam around and explore.

Story
Carl is an approximately 8-year old male Boxer mix and weighs around 65 lbs. He was rescued after being abandoned on the streets of OKC. Carl was very confused about how he ended up in boarding, but he has made great progress. He has started playing with the techs there and loves to run around in the clinic yard. He would love a home where he is included in activities and made a part of the family. He is a “rough” player and would do best as an only dog or with a submissive dog, so if there are other dogs in the home, he will need to meet them prior to adoption. Carl would be an awesome companion for the right person. Very loyal. He would not be a good choice for a home with children under 12 or cats. He is simply a senior guy looking for his final home. Carl does not like crates, but will crate. He is good on a leash and would love a home where he can walk with you. We don’t know if he is house-trained but he does keep a clean kennel in boarding. He is neutered, current on vaccines, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $250. Since he is in boarding, he qualifies as a foster to adopt, or just a foster. See Kim or Michelle for more information about fostering. To foster Carl, go to www.foreveryoursokc.org/foster-application. To adopt Carl, go to www.foreveryoursokc.org/adoption-application.

Story
This sweetheart is Rosie! Rosie is an approximately 4.5-year old female Boxer / Pit Bull mix and currently weighs 50 lbs. Rosie is a very playful, loving cuddly! She needs another playful and active dog in the household. Would love a home where she is included in activities. Rosie doesn't really show her true personality at events but she is a very charming young lady. Rosie needs a stockade fenced back yard to run and play in. She can be quite shy at first, but once she is comfortable with the situation, her outgoing and social personality comes out! She is crate, leash and housetrained. Rosie does require a prescription diet for crystals in her urine so she may have accidents occasionally. And the cost of her special food needs to be in the budget for her needs. Rosie is spayed, current on vaccines, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250. If you are interested in adopting Rosie, please go to www.foreveryoursokc.org/adoption-application to apply.

Story
This handsome gentleman is Cappy! Cappy is an approximately 15-month old male Boxer/Pit Bull mix who weighs around 55 lbs. He was rescued as a stray off the streets of OKC. Cappy is such a happy, friendly and playful dog! He doesn't know a stranger. He loves to throw his toys up in the air and play with them. Cappy adores people so he would probably be fine with kids. Cappy would love a home where is included in activities, given plenty of exercise, and attention. He needs a securely fenced back yard and requires a home check. He seems to like other dogs but does play a bit rough and can come on a bit strong to other dogs. He needs to meet all the dogs in the home prior to adoption. Cappy is in boarding and plays with higher energy dogs there. Since he is in boarding, he qualifies as foster-to-adopt or just as a foster dog. He seems okay in a crate, we don't know if he is house-trained since he is in boarding. He is good on a leash with a harness! Cappy is neutered, current on vaccines, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $250 To adopt Cappy, go to www.foreveryoursokc.org/adoption-application to apply. Story
Tucker is a fun loving, happy pup!  He’s shy at first but warms up quickly and then he is full of adventure and life!  He has a smile that is contagious. He is crate trained and house broken. He does well on a leash and knows basic commands. He does well riding in the car. Tucker likes being around children, and he is gentle. He is trained to not jump up. He loves other dogs and will play, chase, and wrestle for hours!  He likes to chase cats, but cats don’t seem to like that very much.  Chickens and ducks are just snacks to him, so maybe a home without chickens or a really secure chicken coop would be best. He’s incredibly sweet, loves belly rubs, back scratches, snuggles, and (of course) TREATS!  He’s a good boy who is hoping to find his new best friend. ##1590437##
