Update: Basil is again Basil for a back to your roots beginning. He is doing so well in foster care puppy characteristics are strong and play time is mandatory! He is completely potty trained crate trained walks great on a leash and knows basic commands. He is super smart and very treat motivated. He waits at gates and doors until he's released with OK. Basil now known as Gunner was returned to Rescue because he was not boxer enough. He was not completely potty trained, and he bites all the time. The people had him since he was eight weeks old and failed to train him properly. He will be completely potty, trained, crate, trained, and leash trained in no time. He is very motivated to please. He seems like an old soul. He's pretty calm for a six month puppy and my puppy experience. He rode between my husband and I and our pick up all the way home just as calm as could be. They dropped him off to us in the Lowe's parking lot so we took him straight inside. He was quick to learn some leash, manners and social behavior. He is all puppy and wants to put everything in his mouth. he likes to move his ears with his emotions. One ear stands straight up or both. He is going to make a family very happy.

Brynn is one of the dominant pups to her siblings but the most submissive to her people. She is a bit of a drama queen when it comes to leash training and doing her nails. She has gotten so much better with nails but still working on leash training. She will scream as if limb were being removed as soon as a bit of tension is reached with the leash. Does amazing with a harness but still getting comfortable with it. She does amazing in her kennel and she is fully pad trained with potty training. We are working on potty training now. She is a little timid at first meet but once comfortable she is all about snuggles and cuddles.
