Story
Brynn is one of the dominant pups to her siblings but the most submissive to her people. She is a bit of a drama queen when it comes to leash training and doing her nails. She has gotten so much better with nails but still working on leash training. She will scream as if limb were being removed as soon as a bit of tension is reached with the leash. Does amazing with a harness but still getting comfortable with it. She does amazing in her kennel and she is fully pad trained with potty training. We are working on potty training now. She is a little timid at first meet but once comfortable she is all about snuggles and cuddles. Stella Grace is an approximately 3-year-old Boxer who recently showed up without identification and has not been claimed. She is a calm, affectionate dog who is very people-oriented and prefers staying close to her humans. She gets along well with children and other dogs, though she tends to engage in “parallel play” rather than active play. She has a non-aggressive temperament and has shown no interest in chasing free-range chickens. Stella rides well in the car, takes treats gently, and is responsive to positive correction, picking up on new expectations quickly. She is comfortable sleeping in a crate at night and has started adjusting well to indoor routines. While she is not particularly interested in toys, she enjoys attention and will settle easily once she feels connected to her person. Stella is not yet spayed and has a tendency to counter surf, but overall she is a well-mannered, easygoing dog who would do well in a home where she can receive consistent attention and companionship.

Sookie is one of our visitors being housed from the Choctaw rescue fire at FurEverFriends. She fits us as an old girl that is just ready to relax and settle down into her final forever home and love life. He ears are cropped and she has a ton of scars all over her face. We aren’t sure of her past but she just looks tired. She is such a loving girl that just wants affection and love. She gets along well with her friend buddy who is a huge lab boy. She doesn’t actively play much but will jump on friends. She listens very well and loves to bounce. She looks to have an old rear leg injury and gets aggravated from too much bouncing so we keep that to a minimum. She does amazing in her kennel with her big kooshy blanket. She does well on leash but does pull a little. She is potty trained and kennel trained.
