Story
Meet TillyTilly is an 11-month-old Boxer mix who brings the fun everywhere she goes. Equal parts goofball and adorable sidekick, she has one of those smiles where her teeth are often peeking out, like she’s in on the joke before anyone else. It’s kind of her signature look, and it fits her playful personality perfectly.Tilly would do best in a home with kids seven years and older. We do not recommend a home with cats. She could live with another dog in a well-managed household. Tilly would benefit from a home that’s mindful around shared resources like toys, food, and chews, and can make sure she has her own space when she’s ready to settle in with a bone and relax. If you are interested, please give us a call at 716-731-4368, extension 0.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi, I’m Flash! ✨ I’m a smart boy who loves hard. I graduated from Basic Obedience  training, and I even have the certificate to prove it. Not to brag, but I was basically the smartest  dog in my class. I know how to sit, lay down, go to my place, walk on a leash… All of it! My  foster parents also say I’m an A+ cuddler. While they didn’t check my DNA, if you hear me  howl, you’ll swear I have hound in me. I also have a really strong sniffer and have a blast going  out in the woods and finding new things to smell, like stumps and puddles and holes in the  ground! One thing I’ve learned is I can be cautious of new people. My boundaries are very  important to me. I have to make sure I can trust you before I’m comfortable. Going in public can be a bit overwhelming for me, and it kind of amps me up. I would be fine to stay at home in my crate though. I’m a very good boy who will wait patiently for you to get home. I am great in  a car, so we can go for rides or trips to get ice cream whenever you want! I would do best in a home with someone experienced in dog training. That way they can keep me practicing my  skills and learning new things. I am eager to make my new owner very happy. I’m full of so  much love and happiness, we really don’t need too many visitors to interrupt our fun. Only our closest friends and family. I understand that children are smaller and more delicate. I really just want to play and not hold back though, so a home without children would be great. I know I’m  an extra special boy who is looking for an extra special home. In order to find the perfect family  for me, Buffalo CARES is willing to widen the search. Live outside Western New York but think you could be my forever? My fosters would travel anywhere! Maybe somewhere with lots of space and smells for me to sniff, like the mountains or by the ocean. If I sound like the perfect  addition to your family, Apply to meet me today at Buffalocares.org! I can’t wait to wag my tail for you! ❤️ Hugs and kisses, Flash   Adoption fee : $425 but for the right adopter my aoption fee is waived RR48    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All dogs come fully up to date on shots, microchipped, heart worm tested, de-wormed, on flea and heart worm preventative, and spayed/neutered.  If interested in learning more or adopting please fill out an application on our website at www.buffalocares.org. Story
She was found in a parking lot a year ago very small and dirty. I took her in, got her medical and wanted to keep her but my situation has changed and I am working 2 jobs and don't have time for her. She is sweet but very hyper and active. She needs training. She is kennel trained and completely healthy. Right now she is being locking inside the house for too many hours a day and needs more attention and time. She does sleep in my bed with me and likes to cuddle. No food aggression around other animals, she is socialized with my children's dogs and plays well.

Story
Rosey is the kind of dog who walks into a room already smiling—and fully intends to make herself part of whatever is going on.At 2 years old and about 70 pounds, Rosey is currently carrying a little extra weight, but don’t let that fool you—this girl is not here for a slow, sleepy lifestyle. She’s engaged, enthusiastic, and very much interested in being involved. If you’re moving, she’s moving. If you’re doing something, she’d like to help. She’s endlessly sweet with people and has that “happy to see you” energy that never really turns off. There’s always a grin, always a presence, always a sense that she’s ready for whatever comes next.Rosey may be able to live with another dog, especially one who can match her energy and doesn’t mind a more interactive companion. Cats, however, are a firm no from Rosey. She’s going to need a home that’s ready to help her slim down in a healthy way—more activity, some structure, and a commitment to keeping her moving and engaged. The payoff is a dog who brings a whole lot of personality, presence, and joy into your day.If you are interested, please give us a call at 716-731-4368, extension 0.

Story
Meet Marigold At 4 years old and 57 pounds, Marigold has already overcome more than most dogs ever should. This beautiful Pit Bull mix is deaf, and when she arrived at the Niagara SPCA, she was suffering from non-malignant tumors in the glands inside her ears that produce ear wax. To give her a pain-free future, she underwent surgery to remove both the masses and her ear canal.Through it all, Marigold has been nothing short of amazing. She is incredibly sweet, gentle, and has a way of showing just how grateful she is for the love and care she`s received. Despite everything she`s been through, her heart is full, and she`s ready to share that love with the family she`s been waiting for.Because Marigold is deaf, she`ll thrive with a family willing to communicate with her through patience, consistency, and love. She`d like to meet any children or dogs already living in the home to make sure everyone is the perfect match. If you`re looking for a dog who will remind you every single day just how powerful love and second chances can be, Marigold is waiting to meet you.Interested in adopting Marigold? Call the Niagara SPCA at (716) 731-4368 to schedule a meet-and-greet.
