Story
Don't let this guys deep bark fool you... he is all bark and no bite. If you're looking for the sweetest new addition to your family come meet Pedro - an approximately 2 year old, 60 pound, boxer mix. Pedro found himself at a shelter in Missouri as a stray. After meeting him you'll wonder why no one ever came looking for him. Pedro's resume is quite impressive. He is dog friendly and people friendly. It's hard to decide which one he loves more! He likes to chew on bones, go for walks, and to play fetch. Pedro is house trained and crate trained, making adoption a smooth and easy transition. He loves a good snuggle and to curl up next to you on the couch. He has been great with the kids he has met and is catching on quickly to basic commands. All dogs are brought current on their vaccinations up to the point of adoption. Parasite protection is also done with dewormings, flea/tick prevention application, and heartworm prevention. If old enough a heartworm test is done. The spay/neuter and microchip are included in the adoption fee. All our dogs go to their new homes with their collar/leash, dog bed, favorite toy(s), bowls, and some food to acclimate them. For adoption consideration, please fill out an application from our website at (www.causeforpaws.net) Adoption fee is $350 donation. Please also read about our adoption process and requirements on the website. For the safety and convenience of our foster homes and their orphans, we will only consider applicants that are within a 100 mile adoption radius.

Story
Miss Gigi is officially up for adoption! This sweet girl is estimated to be 8-10 years old. She has very good house manners and is up to date on all vaccines. Gigi’s favorite things are cuddles, belly rubs and giving kisses….she just wants to love and be loved by her humans! Gigi was surrendered to us after her owner passed away and she was facing euthanasia at a pound in Missouri. She does well with cats but would do best as an only dog in the house as she wants all the love/attention and fast movements from other dogs makes her nervous. She may be a senior dog, but she has sooo much life left in her! She is always up for playtime and zoomies but is completely content just lounging around the house with her people. All dogs are brought current on their vaccinations up to the point of adoption. Parasite protection is also done with dewormings, flea/tick prevention application, and heartworm prevention. If old enough a heartworm test is done. The spay/neuter and microchip are included in the adoption fee. Gage is a 6 month old boxer/basset hound/other hound mix. If you’re looking for a puppy with some puppy energy this guy is for you! I have had Gage for just a few weeks now and he is a smart little boy! Doing very well with potty training and learning basic commands. Despite his size, he lovessss wrestling with my Great Dane Lakota. Once he gets his puppy energy out Gage is always looking for someone to cuddle with while he naps… dog or human. He is VERY food motivated. Story
Introducing Tutti, the lovable Boxer mix with a heart full of affection and a zest for life! Hi, I'm Tutti, a spirited and affectionate Boxer mix ready to bring joy to your life! With my charming personality and playful nature, I'm the perfect companion for anyone seeking a loyal and loving pet. I absolutely adore my humans and thrive on cuddles and quality time together. Whether we're snuggled up on the couch or enjoying a leisurely walk in the park, I'll be right by your side, wagging my tail with excitement. I find great pleasure in the company of my loved ones and will shower you with endless affection and loyalty. One of my favorite pastimes is chasing balls and toys. Throw one my way, and I'll happily engage in an enthusiastic game of fetch. I'm always up for outdoor adventures, so count me in for long walks, hikes, or exploring new places. The fresh air and open spaces truly bring out the best in me! If there's another furry friend in the house, I'm sure we'll have a blast playing tug of war together. I thrive in the company of larger canine companions, and their presence brings out my playful side. Having a four-legged friend around helps me feel even more content and fulfilled. I take pride in my impeccable house manners. I am housebroken and have mastered the art of kennel training, though I must admit that I have a soft spot for the couch or your cozy bed. After a day full of activities, nothing makes me happier than curling up beside you for a well-deserved snuggle session. If you're looking for an affectionate, fun-loving, and loyal companion, look no further than me, Tutti! Together, we'll create cherished memories and embark on countless adventures. I'm ready to become an integral part of your loving home and bring an abundance of joy and companionship into your life. So, what are you waiting for? Let's start our incredible journey together! **Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered. Wisconsin applications are priority, but Illinois applications will be considered if no small children are present in the home, the home is owned, and excellent vet reference can be provided. We cannot process applications from other states. Adoption fee is $350 unless otherwise noted above. Puppies under 1 year of age accept application for families with children over 6 years of age for large breeds and over 8 years of age for small breeds. Since they are still puppies, dogs under 1 will require a basic obedience and puppy training class, and spay/neuter at the owners expense.
