Hi this is Dobby she needs a permanent loving home she's 11 years old she's a boxer and Feist mix she should not live with other dogs submissive cats she's okay to live with no babies and little kids but she's a sweetheart she's very loyal she's very dedicated and protective she's very loving and caring she enjoys hiking and nature walks get pooped out but she needs a little encouragement to go out and then when she does she has a great time but she does not like company vehicles and uniforms and she would be good on a short leash to start out with she's about 33 lbs. Jojo is being fostered in Illinois. She has some vision. Hi. My name is Jojo. I am a 4-year-old boxer mix. I like to think of myself as a playful happy-go-lucky gal. I may not see you well because close objects are like shadows and a little blurry to me, but I know you are there. I get along well with all the cats and dogs in my foster home. I like cats. But I may need slow introductions with little feisty dogs. But I would love to go to a home that has many friendly 4-legged buddies. I like to be active and meet people and other dogs. However, I am not too good with children because a lot of time kids either approach me too fast or gather around me, which makes me so scared that I have to give a warning snap. But I do love my walks. Even more, I love an open field that I can have all to myself so I can let out a lot of my energy. At home, I like to relax and sit at my spot while my foster daddy is doing his work. Everyday, I get to be petted and it makes me feel loved. I am housebroken. However, every once in a while, I have accidents because anxiety gets the best of me when I realize my foster dad has not been home for a while. I will do well in a home where someone is present 90-95 percent of time, perhaps with someone who works out of home or is an active retired person. Blind Dog Rescue has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Lola isn't a dog, she's a house hippo. She embraces all things hippo - she likes to lounge, she likes to soak in her pool, and she likes to eat. This hippo gives great kisses freely. She is super friendly with people and has so much love to give!!!! We don't know how old Lola is but we think she is around 3(ish) years old. She had babies and was a very good momma. Lola is just shy of 80lbs - but don't let her weight fool ya, she thinks she's a little girl. Despite her size, she is very gentle. She walks incredibly well on leash and took to going for strolls immediately. She is lower energy and a stroll and cuddles is her ideal day. She would appreciate a pup pool in the summer, but it's not a deal breaker. She is very smart and is picking up on skills quickly. She does not react to dogs we see on walks, though she has not met other dogs in our care. We do not know if she is dog friendly. Lola is an incredible girl and may just be that missing piece in your family! Reach out about her and we can set up a time for you to meet her and receive her kisses!
