Story
Jojo is being fostered in Illinois. Has some vision.Hi. My name is Jojo. I am a 4-year-old boxer mix. I like to think of myself as a playful happy-go-lucky gal. I may not see you well because close objects are like shadows and a little blurry to me, but I know you are there. I get along well with all the cats and dogs in my foster home. I like cats (see https://youtu.be/t_3b0r0n9LY ). But I may need slow introductions with little feisty dogs. But I would love to go to a home that has many friendly 4-legged buddies.I like to be active and meet people and other dogs (see https://youtu.be/9LG4Cy9_kJI ). However, I am not too good with children because a lot of time kids either approach me too fast or gather around me, which makes me so scared that I have to give a warning snap. But I do love my walks. Even more, I love an open field that I can have all to myself so I can let out a lot of my energy (see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nWkm8OssZU ). At home, I like to relax and sit at my spot while my foster daddy is doing his work. Everyday, I get to be petted and it makes me feel loved (see https://youtu.be/Y_-7FDicj-M ).I am housebroken. However, every once in a while, I have accidents because anxiety gets the best of me when I realize my foster dad has not been home for a while. I will do well in a home where someone is present 90-95 percent of time, perhaps with someone who works out of home or is an active retired person.Blind Dog Rescue has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Story
Meet Roscoe! He boxer/ labador mix and will be 7 on September 4th. He’s very lovable. Has been raised around children from newborn to teens and other dogs. He has had some small interactions with cats never a problem. Roscoe loves to play. He has not been diagnosed with separation anxiety however he tends to show signs once he’s attached to a person. His rabies are due June 10, 2027. He does get excited and at times he will have the Zumiez when he’s outside, which will cause problems with his back knee and he’ll start to favor that a little bit cause it’s so sore that looked at it no damage, but just his breed, he says it’s common joints and hip chews do help. He sees Blackhawk Vet in Janesville Wisconsin.

Story
2 months old (estimated) Neutered Male  12 lbs. and growing!  Has done well with dogs, cats, and kids More information coming soon! The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.July 19, 2026, 9:13 pm

Story
Wynn is being fostered in PA/ Adorable Wynn is looking for love and adventure! This energetic, yet laid back youngster cant wait to start her new life with you as an exercise partner and companion. Her special needs do not stop her from using her puppy energy for run and play, but she also enjoys relaxing on the couch with her person. Wynn loves making new dog friends but can be a little exuberant at first, so careful introductions are important as she learns her doggy social skills. Wynn is potty trained (with occasional accidents when excited) and crate trained. Her bedtime is 8-8:30 and she sleeps through the night! Story
Hope is being fostered in LA. Hope is a sweet and happy girl. She does have some vision loss. Hope is fit, healthy and a very loyal pup full of energy and love. She is ready to fill your days with adventure and nights with cuddling. Hope is looking for a daytime exercise partner with whom she can run, play with toys, engage in games of catch, tug of war and sometimes long silly leaps just for fun. In the evening a snuggle buddy is in order so she can cuddle close with her head on the lap of her human. Hope is very loyal and loving to her person. This sweetheart is well behaved and very likeable. She does well on a leash and is really great about going to her kennel when asked. Hope enjoys meeting new people and they, her. She is so adored at the vets office that they treat her like the “Belle of the Ball” giving her all kinds of special attention and loving. Hope, with all her positive qualities is still a youngster and often doesn’t know her own strength, so she can sometimes play rough. Slow introductions would be best. She plays well with most dogs, but prefers unassertive canine friends and would do well in a home without small children or cats. (Transports within 18 hours travel time are available to approved adopter.) BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.
