Story
Bailey is a beautiful orange‑and‑white senior Brittany who came into rescue as an owner surrender when her family was required to move overseas.  Both great on a leash and trained to an invisible fence, Bailey’s manners are impeccable. As a matter of fact, she is close to perfect.  At 12 years old, she is wise, gentle, affectionate, and wonderfully people‑oriented — the kind of dog who wants nothing more than to be near her person. This precious senior girl has so much to offer her new family! Are you an adopter over 65? ✨ Health & Veterinary Care Up to date on all vaccinations Heartworm negative and on monthly preventatives Spayed Has a clear, fluid‑filled cyst on her belly that can be drained at home as needed (vet‑diagnosed) Small eyelid bump that is currently harmless and monitored by her vet-recently evaluated Mild age‑related hearing loss, especially with loud noises (fireworks, gunshots) Training & Behavior Bailey is housetrained and has basic obedience skills. She is extremely well‑mannered: Great with adults, children, dogs, and even cats Leash trained Tarined to a wireless fence system (invisible fence) Does not bark at visitors or other dogs Trustworthy when left loose in the house Loves human companionship and prefers not to be left alone for long periods Her separation anxiety is well‑managed with medication and routine Personality & Daily Life Bailey is a sweet, smart, and deeply loving dog. She enjoys: Fetching and happily returning the ball Riding in the car Exploring the woods Riding along in the farm side‑by‑side Spending her days relaxing near her person Playing with other dogs She currently lives on a farm and does wonderfully with all farm animals. During the day she naps, follows her person around, or lounges nearby while they work. She thrives in a quiet, steady environment and would be happiest with someone who is a homebody or works from home. Ideal Home Bailey will do best with an adopter who: Is home often Wants a calm, loyal companion Appreciates a senior dog with a gentle spirit Can continue her separation anxiety medications Enjoys spending time outdoors or simply relaxing with her human nearby Bailey is a loving, devoted girl who bonds deeply and brings a peaceful, warm presence to any home. Story
Ripley is an adorable 4.5-year-old Brittany who is very sweet and loves, loves people.  Ripley is moderately energetic, loves to play fetch, run zoomies and go on long walks.  Once he’s had his exercise, Ripley is happy to lie next to you on the couch to watch a game or movie.  He is very smart and extremely food motivated so training is made easier. Ripley will need a home with a good-sized yard that is enclosed by a 6-foot physical fence so he can run zoomies and watch birds and squirrels.  Ripley will need an owner who is active, patient and dog savvy who can give him lots of attention and understands the exercise needs of a brit.  Ripley is currently in an obedience class and knows stay, come, and walks nicely on a leash.   The ideal adopter/s would have the time and desire to work with Ripley on continuing his obedience and social skills through positive reinforcement and consistent training.  Ripley would do best in a home as an only dog.  While he is fine with other dogs if there is a good introduction first, he thrives on having all the attention.  Ripley is very self-sufficient and can be left alone in his home comfortably, but he would love to have someone who works from home or is home most of the time.     The adoption fee for Ripley is $400.  Ripley is neutered, current on his vaccinations and microchipped.  If you are interested in making Ripley a member of your family, and have the time, energy, and love to give him, please visit www.nbran.org and complete the on-line adoption application form under the Adopt tab.  A phone interview, home visit, and vet check will be required as part of the approval process.  For more information after completing an application, call Patti at 801.841.4053. Please realize that all our dogs are placed in the most appropriate home for their individual needs.  We do not operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. Ripley can be adopted up to 1400 miles from his foster home to eligible adopters.  October 10, 2026, 3:45 pm
