Story
Miss Bella is a lovely lady who is estimated to be between 10-12 years old weighing about 27lbs.  Even though Bella is a senior, she does need her daily walk.  She is currently walking 1-2 miles daily, after which she is content to sleep and relax the rest of the day.  She is a love sponge and will happily accept your pets and if you’re lucky some couch cuddles. She is good with other dogs in the home and would do well with a playmate, but she would also love to be the apple of your eye having your undivided attention during her golden years.   Bella is potty trained and has done well being left alone in the house with her dog sister. While she has good house manners overall, she is a bit of an opportunist and if there is unattended food on the table or counter, she will do a bit of counter surfing to go after it. Like most Brittanys, Bella enjoys looking at and stalking birds and squirrels and needs a home with a yard that is secured by a 6 ft fence to patrol and chase small critters. She is not a jumpy dog and loves meeting new people and gets very excited playing with her humans.  Bella is an absolute sweetheart who melts the hearts of everyone she meets. If you’re looking for a golden girl who will love you to the moon and back, look no further than this bundle of joy. Bella is spayed, current on her vaccinations and microchipped.  Her adoption fee is $200 ($150.00 for a senior).  If you are interested in making Bella a member of your family, and have the time, energy, and love to give her, please visit www.nbran.org and complete the online adoption application form under the Adopt tab.  A phone interview, home visit, and vet check will be required as part of the approval process.  For more information after completing an application, contact Patti at 801.641.4053.  Please realize all our dogs are placed in the most appropriate home for their individual needs.  We do not operate on a first come, first serve basis.   August 21, 2026, 9:02 pm

Story
Hi Brittany Lovers! My name is Hank and I am approximately 18 months old. When I got to NBRAN, I visited the vet and got all my vaccines and I was neutered. I am heartworm negative and I take my monthly heartworm preventatives like a good boy!  I am a very handsome male French Brittany, if I do say so myself. Actually, everyone that meets me says I am very handsome! At 30 lbs., I am a little guy.  I can be very shy, but I can also be very loving. One thing for sure, I don’t like you touching my feet!  Because, I had lived my life in a kennel with a concrete floor, I did not play or walk in the grass much.  That makes going to the potty on the grass confusing for me.  I was only allowed to relieve myself on the concrete.  I am very smart, but sometimes habits can be hard to break, and house training has not been easy for me.  I would love a home with a housetrained doggie friend that would help me learn the ropes, but I am proud to say that I have done so well on my housetraining, I might not need another dog to show me the ropes.  I have never been around cats, but I don’t think I would like them very much! My foster family loves me but wants me to have a family of my very own.  I am still fixated with rolling in things that don’t smell so good, but my foster mom has worked with me, and I am getting lots better.  I need a home with a fenced backyard to run in, and a doggie door would help me with housetraining, although it is not a “must have.” I am a Houdini in my collar and harness and have been known to try to get out of them (successfully) and explore. Do you think you would like me to come be part of your family? If you have patience and a loving home where I can have fenced yard, I would love to come live with you! My adoption fee is $400 to help offset the expenses associated with getting me ( and other fabulous rescued Brittanys) in great condition for a fabulous new home.  You don't have to live in Tennessee, NBRAN will transport me up to 1400 miles to my furever home. Please contact Suzanne Horsley ztasuzanne@gmail.com or Debbie Tuthill agilitybrits@gmail.com  to find out more about me! Story
Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! What we know: Litter of 4 transferred from Operation Kindness in Texas. No further information was given on their history. From the foster: Meet Ni: The quiet one who'll steal your heart Ni isn't the puppy who's going to rush to the front of the crowd demanding your attention. She's a little more reserved than that. She likes to watch, take things in, and decide for herself when she's ready to make friends. But give her a little time, and you'll notice something wonderful happen: Ni will start coming to you for pets and affection. Earning this sweet girl's trust makes those moments feel just a little more special. Don't mistake her reserved personality for being a couch potato, though! As a pointer mix, Ni has plenty of puppy energy and will need a family ready to help her put it to good use. Walks, playtime, exploring, training, and other adventures will be important for keeping both her body and her busy puppy brain happy. She's already doing pretty well on a leash, so she's off to a great start as a future adventure buddy. And after the activity? Ni has an excellent off-switch. She's been a superstar in her crate, settling down nicely whether it's during the day while her foster family runs errands or overnight when it's time for everyone to sleep. She's also very responsive to gentle correction. A simple "uh-uh" is usually enough to let her know that perhaps her latest puppy decision wasn't the best one, and she's happy to change course. Potty training is a work in progress and she is catching on quickly, but her future family will need to continue helping her figure that out with patience and consistency. She's still a puppy, and there are important things left to learn! Ni may not demand the spotlight, but that's part of her charm. She's a gentle, thoughtful girl with an adventurous side just waiting to emerge. Give her the activity she needs, the patience to feel comfortable, and a safe place to land at the end of the day, and you'll get to watch this special girl blossom. If you're looking for an adventure buddy who also knows when it's time to settle in, Ni might just be waiting for you. www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt
