Story
Stella is looking for their forever home! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: Stella is one of the most low maintenance fosters I've ever had the pleasure of helping find a forever home. From being a shy, scared, and timid girl to being confident, secure, and well-mannered, Stella has grown so much in the 2+ years I've known her; although the vacuum cleaner is still enemy #1. Stella has lived in all types of settings: in a busy city, in an apartment, on a quiet street, with dogs, with reactive dogs, and easily adapted to her home environment. She is crate trained and LOVES having a bed in her crate to curl up into a donut while you're at work. She knows every basic command like sit, down, touch, stay and is fully potty trained. Stella's favorite toy is a lambie, or something else that is tiny that she can carry around in her mouth. Once, she took care of an egg for 6 hours before it broke, she's the most gentle creature. Stella is made of love and French fries. There's nothing more that she wants than to be inside with her people, cuddled up on the couch with a show, or playing sous chef in a calm kitchen. She takes awhile to warm up to her people, but with some french fires (her favorite is Burger King), some space, and a bit of patience, she'll love you unconditionally and will likely knock you over from wagging her tail and wiggling so hard with excitement every time she sees you. Although Stella is a perfect girl in the home, on leash, and with other dogs, she is scared of human strangers, especially masculine presenting people, and will need a strong advocate to help keep her safe. If you're looking for a great addition to your calm and cozy life with unconditional love to give, Stella is the gal for you. Stella would do best living with queer folks, a home without cis-gendered men, without cats, and without small children. ATTRIBUTES: Stella has lived in foster with other dogs, but can not go to a home with kids, cats, or cis-gendered men. -------------- Laila's Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any dog is housebroken nor crate trained. We strive to provide accurate information on all of our animals however, we are unable to guarantee an animal's breed, size, health, behavior, temperament, or any other conditions. Our adoption fees are not inclusive of all vetting / medical care, food, supplies and/or training costs. Since we rely on donations to compensate for those deficits we are unable to reduce or refund this fee. Story
Meet Koolaid— a 2-year-old blue and white merle heartthrob who’s FULL of love and personality! This big goof is house-trained, crate-trained, and ready to be your shadow. Koolaid is coming back to us through no fault of his own. His adopter wasn’t able to work through some RG over toys with the resident dog, even with training support offered. Now this sweet boy needs a fresh start in a home that can give him structure and love! - Loves squeaky toys (and destroying them), zoomies, tug-of-war, and belly rubs - Great in his crate overnight and has been fine up to 5 hours alone. - Walks decently on leash, loves hikes, and goes crazy for balls! - Total cuddle bug who will yell at you for more attention. Koolaid adores people, and while he prefers to be your main squeeze, he can live with a tolerant, playful dog roommate who can handle his big personality—with slow acclimation. If you’re looking for a fun, quirky, and affectionate buddy, Koolaid is your guy! Apply to foster OR adopt today and help this sweet boy get the second chance he deserves! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ADOPTION DISCLAIMER: At Perfectly Paired Pitties (P3), we aim to provide accurate information about all of our animals to the best of our abilities. Story
Meet Barrett Barrett is a loving, social, and seriously charming boy who is ready for his next chapter! He survived a tough start — arriving at a shelter in Baltimore after being shot and battled pneumonia — but he healed beautifully and never lost his happy, gentle spirit. (And yes, those ice-blue eyes do come with hearing — he hears just fine!) Barrett is: Kid-Friendly Dog-Friendly People-Social (no stranger hesitation) Crate Trained & Well-Mannered Board-and-Train Graduate with continued trainer support included He currently lives with multiple dogs and gets along great with most. One resident dog is not a match for him, and while the home has been managing with structure and training, they want Barrett to have a home where he can fully relax and thrive. Barrett would love: A home with another friendly, well-balanced dog or can be in a home where he can be your one-and-only adventure buddy, he will want to make dog friends, so his family would need to make this a priority! He’s resilient, affectionate, easy to live with, and truly a joy to have around. Interested in adopting Barrett? He’s ready to make your home feel complete. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ADOPTION DISCLAIMER: At Perfectly Paired Pitties (P3), we aim to provide accurate information about all of our animals to the best of our abilities.
