Meet Trey! Trey is the absolute sweetest bulldog you’ll ever meet. He’s incredibly friendly and does amazing with all people and other dogs—his temperament truly couldn’t be better. Trey came to us with some skin issues, but he’s been healing up beautifully and is now ready to find his forever family. He’s a big, handsome boy at a solid 72 pounds and is estimated to be around 6 years old. Laid-back and easygoing, Trey also has a playful side and loves his toys. He enjoys having a kennel in his home—not because he has to, but because he genuinely loves it. It’s his happy place, and he often goes in on his own just to relax (no door needed!). Meet Paxton! Paxton has an incredible temperament — calm, balanced, and happy to go with the flow. He has a neutral energy level and is just as content playing as he is hanging out quietly by your side. He absolutely adores children and is very gentle and patient with them. He’s about 8 months old and 55 pounds, and we expect him to finish filling out around 65 pounds. With his sturdy build and expressive face, he looks like a lovable bull terrier mix. Paxton is potty trained, knows sit, and is great with kids, cats, and other dogs. He’s a funny, stocky guy with a big heart and an even bigger charm — the kind of dog who will keep you smiling every single day. Welcome Honey to CCPAL foster Program. Honey is a 3 year old Boxer mixed dog. She is potty trained. We think Honey survived the flood in Kerrville. A good samaritan has taken her in and is giving her good nutrition and love until we find her forever home. She was really scratched up and had a wound on her front left leg. She will be spayed soon and she is going to the vet again for a follow up on her leg. Our guess is it may have gotten broken and healed back on it’s own due to what she has gone through. She is good on a leash, very loving and bonds deeply. She lives with 5 cats right now but she is much too interested and we feel her best home would be without cats. She loves all people and no one is a stranger. She is good with dogs her size and is an energetic girl. Her best home would be with an active and ourdoorsy family that wants a great companion to join them in their outdoor fun. She is looking wonderful and filling out nicely in her new foster home. She lost some muscle around her bum area due to the length of time she was without food. Despite this, she would make an amazing family pet. She would love to be the only dog and be the center of her families attention. She weighs about 40 pounds and is a taller dog but medium weight. She is great in a car and would make a great dog in settings where lots of people are around. She is lower in shedding. She will be getting spayed soon and ready for her forever home. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. This big baby is two parts sweet and cuddly, one-part playful goofball, and 100% devoted to his person. He follows his foster everywhere, convinced he’s a lapdog despite being built more like a small ottoman. Murphy loves balls, tug&#226&#128&#145of&#226&#128&#145war ropes, chew toys, and anything that lets him show off his silly side. He doesn’t bark much, but he does have a whole vocabulary of grumbles, groans, and expressive noises to let you know exactly what’s on his mind. He’s a constant source of laughter with his big personality and even bigger heart. He’s potty trained, crate trained and knows several basic commands. He’s working hard on leash manners—he wears a gentle leader and is improving, but he gets very excited when he sees other dogs and can be a handful. He does well with his resident dog, though his enthusiastic, erratic “happy wiggles” can be a bit much for calmer pups. Murphy is friendly with new people, rides well in the car, and loves saying hello to everyone he meets. He’s affectionate, playful, and eager to please, making him a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys a big, goofy shadow by their side.
