Their litter was bottle-fed after their mother wasn't able to care for them, so she grew up with lots of love and human attention. She's affectionate, playful, and full of personality. She is sweet, gentle, and more of a homebody. She loves cozy indoor spaces and one-on-one attention. She does well with children and also does well with calm dogs but ours will try to be playful and chase her which stresses her out. We also have her bonded brother, Yoda, that we want to rehome and have them to stay together. Yoda is also listed on Adopt A Pet.

Checkers is 2.5 years old. She is very playful and loves a cuddle. When she is done with her pets, she likes to be on her own. She loves playing with ponytails! She is great with other animals. The only thing she hates is the car. I have to rehome Checkers by the end of January because I will be moving into a space with someone that is allergic.

Didi was adopted in early 2019 by a mother and daughter. Shortly after, the mother passed. In October 2025, the daughter passed, leaving behind four cats. She’s a little unsure around men since she’s met very few, but she warms up quickly. Are you interested in switching from being a dog person to a cat person? You should meet Didi!
