Bonded pair looking a home together. Big White and Zoey find themselves looking for a home after their beloved human mom passed away. Their mom was a big supporter of MAA so it's extra special to help her babies find a home.Big White is an 8 yr old male. He has a beautiful white coat. His most unique feature are his eyes. One is yellow and the other blue. He's big cat who loves his humans. He likes to lay on top of you or right next to you. He also loves to give kisses. When he's content his tongue sticks out. He enjoys his cat treats along with canned food.Zoey is a beautiful 4 year old calico. She is a little reserved in the beginning, but once she gets comfortable she will also lay on you or next to you. She likes to roll on her back for short tummy rubs too. She'll give some kisses too and enjoys her treats and canned food also.Both cats are great companions. Will probably do better with older children. Not sure if they've been around dogs but as long as the dog is passive with the proper introductions it should be ok. They are currently working on integrating into their foster home. We've had Fluffy since she was a tiny 8-week-old kitten and is 4 years old. Their litter was bottle-fed after their mother wasn't able to care for them, so she grew up with lots of love and human attention. She's affectionate, playful, and full of personality. She is sweet, gentle, and more of a homebody. She loves cozy indoor spaces and one-on-one attention. While she does well with children, our toddler’s curiosity and energy have been a bit stressful for Fluffy. She also does well with calm dogs but ours will try to be playful and chase her which stresses her out. We also have her bonded brother, Yoda, that we are looking to rehome and would like them to stay together if possible. Yoda is also listed on Adopt A Pet.

Meet Tarzan — the ultimate tree-swinging, adventurous spirit! This feral guy was a challenge to catch, and he’s still a little wary of humans . Tarzan isn’t ready to trust people just yet, but he LOVES other cats and can tolerate calm dogs . Kids? Not his cup of tea — he prefers a peaceful, kitty-filled environment. Once you’ve earned a few minutes of his trust, he’ll tolerate gentle snuggles and may even purr . As soon as he’s ready, he’ll dash off like his tail’s on fire! Tarzan would thrive in a home with energetic feline friends to play and romp with — humans are optional for now. Ella was part of a colony that was cleared in Castle Hayne, NC. She is very affectionate, sweet and playful. She originally tested positive for FeLV, but we have recently retested her for a negative result. This means she may have had it as a kitten, but her immuned system fought it off and contained it to numbers that are no longer measurable. it is best in this situation to be prepared to retest every couple of years for a while. Her best friend is Maria, also in the same position. Ideally they could be adopted together to a home with no other cats.
