Story
We adopted Merry and her best friend, Pippin, when my husband and I first got married 8 years ago. Merry was an adult at the time, estimated around 1-2 years old. We love these kitties so much. We had my daughter in Oct 2022 and found out at 6 months old that she is severely allergic to cats. We have been keeping them shut in our large bonus room since then, but they are not thriving. They are getting even more overweight and finally a year later starting to show signs of distress (clawing to get out, peeing on the carpet, crying, etc.). My daughter carries an epipen with her and takes medicine daily because her allergies are so severe. She has bleeding eczema from residual cat hair and dander exposure in our home. When we go on vacation without pets her symptoms clear. Now, our 4 month old son is showing signs of being allergic as well. We really need to find them a new home together or separately. They do well with dogs and Merry is fine with other cats. Pippin does not like cats.

Story
Bonded with Diego.  Mystique will be shy at first but once she trusts you she is very social and wants to be wherever her humans are. She doesn't like to be picked up or held but LOVES to cuddle in your lap on the couch or beside you in bed as long as you let her initiate it. She LOVES to be pet & talked to. She's very chatty she'll follow you around and carry on a conversation. She's loves toys and she plays fetch. She's very good with other friendly kitties but gets picked on by bullyish cats. Good with older kids. (young kids probably too noisy & active for her) Loves all 3 of her foster humans not just one (meaning not bonding with just 1). She is IN LOVE with foster friend cat Diego! They aren't inseparable but she wants to be where he is most of the time. They coo at each other & bathe & nibble on each other. Apply at www.sparklecatrescue.org ##1250836##

Story
Holly was rescued from a local business.  She has been with the rescue since Christmas 2022 while her foster parents worked to socialize her.  She is still a bit skittish, but she loves to be petted.  She would probably be best as an only cat and would prefer a quiet home without young children or dogs. ##1605325##
