Hi there, this sweet little kitty found me six months ago. I took her in because I did not want her getting pregnant. I have six cats of my own already and they do not accept her and she does not like them. Two months ago I found out she was already pregnant and had kittens. I found homes for some but I still have her and two of her babies. My cats get along with her babies more than her, so it's not as critical to rehome them at this time. Mullin is a very sweet and loving kitty around people. She just wants rubs and her heating pad.

Camper is a very sweet, gentle, and affectionate boy with an independent personality. He enjoys playing with other animals in small doses but generally prefers having his own space and being left alone. He loves having a cozy hiding place where he can retreat and relax. Although he can be shy and selective around strangers, once he feels comfortable, he will happily come out and spend a long time hanging out with you, often with what looks like a sweet smile on his face. He is wonderful with children, very patient and tolerant, and gets along extremely well with our terrier. He would do best in a loving, peaceful home where his need for personal space is respected and he can enjoy companionship on his own terms.

Poor Mellie is 11 years old and her owner surrendered her "because she's getting old and just lays around all the time". NOT KIDDING! Mellie is very scared in the shelter and being overlooked. The second photo is how they keep finding her, she's hiding under the paper. 💔 This baby has been treated like she's nothing! She deserves to spend the rest of her life being loved, not dying in a shelter!! https://WobblyPawsRescue.org She is currently in Charlotte and can be picked up from there or I can have her brought to me in Saxapahaw if you're closer to here. I'll happily drive to meet someone.

Simon has spent a full year in a shelter, no foster homes. He's a 12.5 lb teady bear, so happy and grateful to be out of "jail". Simon is FIV positive which is why he wasn't saved sooner, people hear "FIV" and think the worst. FIV is a cat-specific virus so it can't be passed to humans or dogs. It is spread between cats they can't get it from sharing food bowls, litter boxes or anything like that. Simon gets along well with other cats, he has a very laid back personality so I don't think there's any chance of him spreading the virus to a new roommate. Even though there's no cure, FIV-positive cats can live long, healthy lives indoors with proper care. This sweet boy is neutered, vaccinated and ready for adoption.
