Lorelai was abandoned at our trash can with her buddy Geralt. Our volunteers corralled and rescued them, and brought them into the shelter. Since coming into our care, Lorelai has been nothing short of adorable. You can often find her snoozing in a box, hunting bugs, or rubbing on you and flopping over for pets. Neko is genuinely the cuddliest cat I’ve ever met. He loves being rubbed and played with. He loves laying ontop of you and nuzzling his head into yours. He is very energetic and loves to play. We rescued neko, he was originally homeless. He seems to appreciate any love, food, or attention he can get lol. Unfortunately my housing situation is causing me to put neko up for adoption. We just found out my roomate is pretty allergic to cats and it’s been frustrating for her to deal with and I want her to feel comfortable in our home. On top of the fact that I am moving away for grad school soon and will be unable to take him with me. I really want neko to go to a loving family/person who truly wants him. He is a special cat 🥹.

This is echo, she is the friendliest cat after she gets to know you she comesaround. She has never bitten or scratched me and she has a goofy way about her. We are moving to a place that unfortunately doesn't take animals. She loves the laser and string toys. To perch and look out the window. She will let you carry her around and stare into your eyes and give you kisses. She can come with all her stuff , litter box ,tree perch toys carrier bowl water fountain shot records. She is a very loving and affectionate cat once she gets comfortable with you. She loves being held like a baby and will happily cuddle up with you. At night, she likes to sleep on a pillow above or right next to you, so she’s definitely a companion who loves being close. She loves making biscuits on top of you when y’all are getting ready for bed. She can be a little timid at first and may take some time to warm up to new people, but once she feels comfortable and trusts you, her loving personality really comes out. She also enjoys spending time outside. When I take her outside, she usually stays close to the house and doesn’t wander off, and I always go outside with her. She would do best with someone who is patient and willing to give her a little time to feel comfortable. Once she trusts you, she is a sweet, loving, and affectionate cat who loves being around her person.

Hi, my name is Tempest. I came to Cozy Cat with my babies in 2024. We were all very scared when we first arrived. Over time, my babies started trusting humans and found homes. I'm not quite there. I tend to avoid people when it's busy and if someone gets in my space, I hiss to let them know they are too close. When it's quiet, I don't mind if someone sits by me and talks to me as long as they don't try to touch me.

Atia is a beautiful Torti with the birthday of April 5, 2023. She is a mother who gave birth to her babies outdoors on someone’s porch in the Hilltop. She was brought into the shelter with her babies. Atia has a lot of friends at the shelter, mostly Joey’s crew. Atia is still learning to trust people and struggles in loud environment when someone is trying to touch her without asking for her permission. She is still learning that hands can mean love, not fear. She’s made big strides already and would thrive in a calm home with someone who understands the beauty of going slow.She’s looking for someone who understands that the best things in life take time — a calm home, patience and understanding that she may need time to adjust.
