Story
1. No adoption fee b/c Marley is easily scared and when she is frightened she do what she can to protect herself 2. She is respectful and needs more attention ..more care 3. I only been able to feed her and be with her when I can but I work long hours 5 days/ week she has gotten use to me but it took along time 4. I just don't want her out in the streets and I know someone out there better than me can give her the care she needs 5. She does know to use the litter box and has a cat tree she loves. 6. She still has her claws. I didn't do a great job with training however if she has a scratch pad and clean litter she never peed on my floor or scratched up my furniture. Marley do loves to climb 7. Marley loves to be observant of new spaces and people it do take awhile to earn her trust. I leaver her alone by herself alot due to my hours. Most of time she sleeps and plays by herself. 8. MARLEY doesn't answer to her name but I never changed it.

Story
Roshi was living in my parents shed for about 10 years when she started wanting to come inside all the time. My parents’ cat would beat her up so we took her in, and unfortunately our cat and her also did not get along. We think it’s best she go to a home with no other cats. Roshi had an enlarged eye that turned out to be glaucoma. She had the eye removed under our care and has recovered tremendously. This cat is incredibly gentle natured and sweet. I hate to see her go to a new home, but she has to be separated due to my resident cat and her not getting along and it’s just not fair to her. We want to ensure that she goes to a loving caring home.

Haley is a sweet senior who found her way back  to colony cats after she was dumped by her previous adopter.  When she came to us she was scared and not eating well but she has slowly become more comfortable. She’s an easy going lady who just wants to spend her retirement curled up in a sunbeam. Could this be with you? Put in an application to meet her today. She currently resides in our boutique where she has a little more peace and quiet than in the adoption center but we’d love to introduce her to you there! DOB: 3/1/2017 Come meet me at the cage-free Adoption Center! **If interested in adopting me, please fill out an online adoption application at https://colonycats.org/adoption_app.html to expedite the process. Story
FIV+Meet Blanche, a stunning calico beauty with a striking mix of black, orange, and white fur. Born around March 8, 2021, Blanche joined our adoption center on March 16, 2024, after being caught as a stray in Blacklick by our dedicated TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) volunteers. Despite her life on the streets, Blanche is not feral. She has an independent spirit that makes her an intriguing and charming companion. Blanche is spayed, vaccinated, and has tested negative for FeLV. Additionally, she is FIV+ (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus positive), which means she has a weakened immune system compared to FIV-negative cats. While this requires some extra care to keep her healthy, it doesn't stop her from living a fulfilling life. Blanche is extremely shy and tends to be reserved around new people. However, if you approach her slowly, she enjoys a good head scratch and will purr contentedly. She may not be the most attention-seeking kitty, but she still appreciates love and care. Her friendship is won through gentle pets and tasty snacks, making the bond you form with her all the more special. Blanche got her name because of her beautiful white patches of fur that reminded our volunteers of fresh snow. Her name, meaning "white" in French, seemed like a perfect fit for her unique and elegant appearance. Blanche is slow to trust and doesn't like new people, but once she warms up to you (which takes a while), she is incredibly sweet and loyal. If you’re looking for a beautiful and self-reliant feline friend, Blanche might just be the perfect addition to your home. Come meet her and experience her unique charm for yourself! **Come meet me at the cage free Adoption Center! All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLV. Story
Meet Bernice, a small 3 year old calico cat with big beautiful kohl black lined green eyes. Bernice was rescued by a good samaritan who had been feeding and looking after several kitties that had once been loved but were suffering from neglect.  When she was first brought in, Bernice's rescuers noticed how dignified and poised she seemed, despite her humble beginnings. They decided to name her Bernice, which means "bringer of victory," as a testament to her resilient spirit and her triumphant journey from stray to beloved pet. Bernice has a gentle and affectionate personality. She loves to be around people and is always eager for some quality petting and attention. Bernice has a playful side too—she enjoys batting around her toys and exploring her surroundings with an air of elegance and grace. Her calm and composed demeanor makes her an ideal companion for any household. Bernice is spayed, fully vaccinated, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV, ensuring she is ready for a loving forever home. If you’re looking for a friendly and loving feline friend, Bernice is the perfect choice. Come meet her and let her charming personality and adorable looks win you over! Story
DOB: 2/27/2023 "With a name like Norma Jean, you would assume I am an 85-year-old human, but this assumption would be inaccurate. I am actually a 1-year-old dilute tortie seeking my forever home. Despite my youthful appearance, there's a timeless elegance to me that evokes the glamour of days gone by. However, behind this vintage-inspired facade lies a shy and gentle soul. I may not possess the confidence of a Hollywood starlet, but I have a heart as tender as a love song from the past. I've spent much of my young life tiptoeing around the edges, observing the world with cautious curiosity. Yet, despite my timid nature, there is a quiet resilience within me. With patience and understanding, I believe I can blossom into the confident and loving companion I know I can be. All I need is a gentle hand to guide me, a safe space to call my own, and a bit of time to come out of my shell. So, if you're looking for a feline friend with a vintage charm and a heart of gold, consider giving me, Norma Jean, a chance. With your love and support, I know I can shine as brightly as the stars of yesteryear, bringing joy and warmth to your home for years to come." Come meet me at the cage-free Adoption Center!
