Calico kittens & cats in London, Ohio

Little Miss Soot Sprite was born outside to a mom who took very good care of her and her siblings. We were able to trap mom and get her fixed and one by one have been able to catch the kittens. Soot Sprite is now inside and living the good life and is looking for her forever family. Sooty, as she is nicknamed, is about 5 months old. She is very friendly and playful and would do well with another playful cat or dog and older children. Sooty has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, and treated preventatively for fleas/parasites. Soot Sprite has beautiful dilute calico markings on her face with a deep gray coloring. She does look like she was dipped in a bin of soot (thus, her name). Her fur is soft like a little bunny's fur. I got her from my caseworker, she was found abandoned in a house and I took her in , it was only supposed to be temporary and she left her with me and I haven't heard back since . I am not a cat person and I am not home most of the time to take care of her nor do I have the funds to support her . She came to me without any information on her I know she is fixed she does not go into heat . But I do not have any papers at all on her . And I don't know if she has had any of her shots , That is why the re homing fee will be $20 so you can take her to the vet . She is very skittish and shy and like any other cat she will try growl and be intimidating and hiss but after you take her home and let her out and get use to everything she is a sweet heart and loves affection and loves to cuddle and watch TV with you and she is definitely a couch potato

Phoebe is about five years old. I’ve had her since she was a kitten. She’s very sweet and calm. She is very independent and loves to do her own thing, but she will let you know when she needs you. She doesn’t jump on counters or anything like that. She has been raised around 1 older cat and 3 dogs. We are moving out of the country and cannot take her with us.

They do take special care in terms of monitoring them for signs of infection.  FIV can be passed from cat to cat via deep bite wounds, but not from casual contact so positive cats can live with negative cats without the fear of spreading FIV as long as they get along and are spayed/neutered.
