Story
Marshmallow is a petite, beautiful, 3 year old dilute calico girl with lovely green eyes who loves cheek scratches and making biscuits. She has the most perfect heart-shaped orange spot on her left shoulder which makes her extra loveable. She is a kitty of few words and has been low-maintenance in her foster home. She has wonderful litter habits and has not been observed scratching furniture, jumping on counters, or making a mess. She is still adjusting to "inside life" and is a little shy, but is a lovebug at heart. We think Marshmallow would do best in a home that is on the chiller side and without young children, energetic dogs, or strong-personality cats. If you are in search of a demure, pretty kitty to add to your home, consider Marshmallow! Story
Miso is a beautiful tortoiseshell girl with a striking half-face marking that makes her look like a tiny work of art. She can be a little shy at first and does best with a calm, patient approach while she settles into a new space. Once she feels safe, she’s incredibly sweet. She loves gentle pets, rolling and flopping onto her side for affection, and quietly keeping you company. Her play style is soft and silly. Miso enjoys batting around small mouse toys and relaxing nearby while cat games play on TV. She has excellent litter box manners and is already comfortable using an automatic litter box, making her an easy addition to the right home. Miso would thrive in a peaceful household that’s happy to let her warm up at her own pace, rewarding you with a tender, affectionate companion. Miso can be adopted separately or together with her brother Katsu, depending on what’s best for them and their future families. Story
We found Sally being given away on Facebook less than a year ago and immediately wanted to make her part of our home. She is extremely sweet and loving but can be very skittish getting to know others. Her and my other cat are fighting non stop and I need to find her a more suitable home. She has been an indoor cat her entire life.

Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 16,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.facebook.com/ThreeLittlePittiesRescueSavingKitties/ https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. Story
Sweet RosieJust like her name, Rosie is as sweet as a rose! This affectionate 1.5-year-old beauty was found caring for her kittens and brought into a loving foster home where she could raise them safely. Now that her babies are grown, Rosie is fully vetted—spayed, tested, vaccinated, microchipped, and healthy—and ready to begin a life of her own.Rosie loves being close to her person. She gently rubs against her foster’s legs for attention, happily soaks up chin and cheek scratches, and follows her foster around the house like a little shadow. At bedtime, she curls up on the bed for cozy snuggles. She’s also playful and energetic—she’ll chase her favorite string toy endlessly and zoom after tossed balls and toy mice with delight.Rosie would thrive as an only cat, but she’s shown curiosity toward other felines and will likely do well with a friendly male kitty after a slow, thoughtful introduction. She’s not expected to be a good fit with dogs, as she has no known experience with them.A wonderful blend of affection and fun, Rosie will make a loving, devoted companion for the lucky person who brings her home.To learn more or inquire about adopting Rosie, please email Patricia at dpcadams@comcast.net.For more information call 503-397-4353 or email adoption@columbiahumane.orgDecember 1, 2025, 6:06 am
