Story
I got bug when she was tiny little baby from a litter in California. She’s been with me for 6 years. She used to live with me, my roommates and their cat. Since I’ve moved away I work all the time and feel bad leaving her alone. Ideally she would move to a home with multiple people another animal, or maybe even a family who wants to give her a shot! She has a great personality, very smart and human like lol

Story
These two beautiful littermates have been together since birth.  They miss their elderly owner whom they spent 24/7 on her lap.  Sadly, the owner passed away a year ago and the family can't keep them any longer as they are limited to the number of cats they already own, per landlord. Yvette and Yvonne are very shy of strangers and would need a lot of love, compassion, and patience from their next owner.  Currently, they spend all their time on the adult granddaughter's bed.     They will need a calm and quiet home environment with a cat-savvy person who is retired and has plenty of time and a huge understanding of cats, preferably an older woman.  One who would be happy just to watch them from afar, at the beginning. They have the option to go outside from time to time on their own, but need to be inside only for at least 3 month period to get acclimated to their new home before allowing outside.  A Catio would be ideal, but a cat tree in front of a picture window to view their new world would suffice.  Cat scratchers are a must.   Yvonne likes playing with the red dot. Yvette comes when called. Neither like being picked up and the family respected that.  Yvonne likes light petting on the head and back and Yvette likes pets around the head and will headbutt you, wanting more.  Both were fixed at a year old and were recently vaccinated with FVRCP (treats/prevents distemper, Herpes, URI) and Rabies, in January and February 2024. They are flea-treated monthly and dewormed prophylactically. And they will be microchipped upon adoption. Yvonne occasionally gets eye discharge probably due to herpes zoster and will have eye treatment meds provided. We are asking for an adoption fee of $220 for the pair and we will deliver them to their new home.   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the owner for follow-ups and meeting arrangement.  Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 18, 2024, 4:24 pm

Story
Pikachu is 5 years old white with gorgous orange and black torti/calicomarking. She is very sweet tempered, and tends to be shy at first until she feels comfortable and safe. Once she feels safe she loves one on one attention and cuddles.   Pikachu has been fostered by the sister of her original owner who had her since a tiny kitten. Sadly due to health and personal issues she was not getting the appropiate care. It has taken pikachu some time to trust and feel safe again. It is for such reasons that her former mom feels Pikachu will do so much better in in an environment where she is the only pet, indoors only where there are no small children.   Pikachu is spayed and current on her vaccinations. Excellent overall health and healthy appetite. This little sweetie is so ready for her forever home. Indoor only $90 rehoming fee.  This pretty cat lives outside of the Salem/Albany area.   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Story
This handsome tuxedo fella was the only remaining child to a feral mother. He stuck around long enough to be a big brother to his mothers kittens the next year. And what a good big brother he was! When the new kittens were taken into care, he would not leave them! While most of the rescue group was worried, he was too big to make a good indoor pet his foster knew he was something special. and indeed he is! Sweet and gentle, and so loving! He is not sure of being picked up, but loves to be pulled into your lap. He loves all other cats and is a gentleman in every way.

Story
Angel is a gorgeous female just under a year. She is very playful and curious. She loves to be pet and receive attention. We think she will be a little nervous for a few days at a new location. She would likely benefit from another outgoing kitty in the house to play with! If you'd like to meet Angel, she is currently at the Clackamas Petco next to Target. In the meantime, if you are interested in more information complete the adoption application so we can contact you!
