Story
Bella is a 9 year old black and white cat. Our neighbors moved houses and gave us the responsibility of taking care of her about 7 years ago. She has gave birth to many litters but we can’t provide the money she needs to get fed anymore due to a job change. We hope that she gets into a home with children or other cats since she does pretty well with them.

Story
We received this cat from a friend of ours. She came from a home with other cats and dogs, but because this was a new place, we know that it was going to take time for her to adjust. It’s been over 2 months now and she is not getting along with our other pets at all. She will only eat wet food. She is an absolutely sweetheart and deserves a good home. She would do best by herself. Looking for a home for someone that has had cats before and is looking for another one. She is 5 years old, will be 6 at the end of March. Be prepared to find her hiding for the first week or so. Oh! And she is litter box trained. There would be more pictures of Phoebe, but she is always hiding under the couch so I can’t take other pictures.

Story
Abilene is the kind of kitten that makes your heart ache in the gentlest way. At just seven months old, she’s still very much a baby — a tiny, delicate little soul who is learning that the world can be kind. She’s shy when meeting new people and cautious with new cats at first. She likes to take her time, sitting back and watching everything with her big, thoughtful eyes before deciding it’s safe. She doesn’t rush into new situations… she tiptoes into them. Watch her YouTube video now https://youtu.be/4bC-8_NEjGU?si=YL3j080KH00foKSw And there is something so incredibly sweet about that. Abilene isn’t loud or demanding. She’s soft. She’s gentle. She’s the quiet little girl in the room who just wants to feel safe. But once she does? Oh, she blossoms. With other cats, she may be shy in the beginning, but once she gets to know them, she truly loves having kitty friends. She finds comfort in them and enjoys their company in the sweetest, most peaceful way. A calm, friendly feline sibling would likely help her confidence grow even more. And when playtime starts? It’s like watching the sunshine peek through the clouds. The shy little girl disappears and suddenly she’s chasing toys, pouncing, batting at anything that moves. She plays with her whole tiny heart. In those moments, you see the happy, playful kitten she’s meant to be. It’s beautiful to watch her forget her worries and just be a baby. Abilene would thrive in a patient, loving home — somewhere calm where she can settle in at her own pace. She doesn’t need perfection. She doesn’t need excitement. She just needs someone gentle. Someone who understands that shy kittens aren’t broken — they’re just tender. The best part about a kitten like Abilene is the bond you’ll build. When a shy girl chooses you, it means everything. Every small step forward feels like the biggest victory. Every moment of trust feels earned and precious. She isn’t the bold kitten who runs up to everyone. She’s the one who will quietly steal your heart. Abilene is waiting for someone to see how special she is. Someone who will give her the time to bloom into the confident, playful sweetheart she already is on the inside. If you have a soft spot for the shy ones… Abilene just might be your girl. Adopt her now!! Application: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6984f47eb1bace1e6a018ff9 Questions? Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through.  We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 16,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below!  https://www.facebook.com/ThreeLittlePittiesRescueSavingKitties/  https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/  https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $87 surcharge for transport. Great news! My adoption fee has been paid by someone who loves me and wants me to find a great home.Hey there, I'm Chai. You may not see me at first glance, my best friend Latte likes to help me hide when I'm nervous. I'm more on the shy side, but with some patience I can come out of my shell to show off my true self. Despite being a shy-guy, I am pretty curious. I am always watching the world around me, even if that means I'm watching from a little bit of a distance. Once I know I can trust you, I will softly nuzzle your hand for some pets. Ready to meet me?Here's what you need to know about me:I can be shy in new spaces.
