Story
Ivy is the sweetest girl in the world and has been with me since she was born. She is the biggest cuddler and loves making biscuits on your chest. She loves the outside of her ears gently scratched and also loves being scratched everywhere (her tummy is somewhat desensitized). Ivy knows how to give her paw for a handshake before eating her food or a treat. She loves wet food, but tends to eat it fast. She knows how to vocalize her needs and understands the words "no" and "outside?". She is loving and will rub on you if you cry. Loves playing with string and fishing rod toys and catnip. Super playful and loves outside.Ideally, an owner who can afford vet expenses.

Story
Gimli is a very very sweet boy, he’s very calm and keeps to himself mostly but it’s my belief that he would really come out of his shell in the right environment. Unfortunately with two very loud kids and a dog he’s been very skittish and hides often and has become uncomfortable with using his litter boxes in our home worried that he might be chased out of it. It breaks my heart to have to rehome him but it’s unfair that he’s afraid in his home and he shouldn’t have to be. What’s most important to me is that he finds a good home that allows him to feel safe and comfortable.

Meet Misu! This is my a family members cat who is unable to care for her any longer. She is a very sweet, silly little cat. She is tiny! She gets along great with dogs and children. Very loving, and will curl right up on your neck if you let her. Looking for her forever home, and someone who can give her all the love she deserves.

Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 16,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Story
Abilene is the kind of young cat that makes your heart ache in the gentlest way. At nine months old, she’s shy when meeting new people and cautious with new cats at first. She likes to take her time, sitting back and watching everything with her big, thoughtful eyes before deciding it’s safe. She doesn’t rush into new situations… she tiptoes into them. Watch her YouTube video now https://youtu.be/4bC-8_NEjGU?si=YL3j080KH00foKSw And there is something so incredibly sweet about that. Abilene isn’t loud or demanding. She’s soft. She’s gentle. She’s the quiet little girl in the room who just wants to feel safe. But once she does? Oh, she blossoms. With other cats, she may be shy in the beginning, but once she gets to know them, she truly loves having kitty friends. She finds comfort in them and enjoys their company in the sweetest, most peaceful way. A calm, friendly feline sibling would likely help her confidence grow even more. And when playtime starts? It’s like watching the sunshine peek through the clouds. The shy girl disappears and suddenly she’s chasing toys, pouncing, batting at anything that moves. She plays with her whole heart. In those moments, you see the happy, playful cat she’s meant to be. It’s beautiful to watch her forget her worries and just be a cat. Abilene would thrive in a patient, loving home — somewhere calm where she can settle in at her own pace. She doesn’t need perfection. She doesn’t need excitement. She just needs someone gentle. Someone who understands that shy kitties aren’t broken — they’re just tender. The best part about a young cat like Abilene is the bond you’ll build. When a shy girl chooses you, it means everything. Every small step forward feels like the biggest victory. Every moment of trust feels earned and precious. She isn’t the bold kitty who runs up to everyone. She’s the one who will quietly steal your heart. Abilene is waiting for someone to see how special she is. Someone who will give her the time to bloom into the confident, playful sweetheart she already is on the inside. If you have a soft spot for the shy ones… Abilene just might be your girl. Adopt her now!! Application: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6984f47eb1bace1e6a018ff9 Questions? My foster knows me better than anyone! Here's what they had to say about me during my time with them:Frida is an intelligent and affectionate cat. She is very curious and wants to be around you as you move around. She plays very hard and will snuggle you just as hard. She loves a chicken flavored treat and to play with a string toy. Great news! My adoption fee has been paid by someone who loves me and wants me to find a great home.Hi, I'm Beth! I'm one of those cats who believes the best relationships are worth waiting for. I've discovered I need a moment to assess the situation before diving into the whole "being adorable" thing. But don't worry - once I figure out you're as wonderful as you seem, I transform into a gentle love bug who melts at soft pets and quiet conversations. I've had enough experience with cats to know that I'm not super comfortable with them or getting to know them, so I'd prefer to live without them. Here's what you need to know about me:I'm a special placement cat. I'm pretty particular about my perfect home and my family may need to stick around for awhile to learn all about my needs. My adoption process may take a little longer, but I'm worth the time!I can be shy in new spaces. I need a family who will let me take things at my own pace as I learn about new things. Once I come out of my shell, I have lots of love to give.If there are kids in my new home, I prefer them to be older than 6 and would like to meet them before going home. An adoption counselor can tell you more.I need a home without cats. We just don't get along - even if they don't mind me, I can't be in the same home with them.
