Abilene is the kind of kitten that makes your heart ache in the gentlest way.
At just seven months old, she’s still very much a baby — a tiny, delicate little soul who is learning that the world can be kind. She’s shy when meeting new people and cautious with new cats at first. She likes to take her time, sitting back and watching everything with her big, thoughtful eyes before deciding it’s safe. She doesn’t rush into new situations… she tiptoes into them.

And there is something so incredibly sweet about that.
Abilene isn’t loud or demanding. She’s soft. She’s gentle. She’s the quiet little girl in the room who just wants to feel safe. But once she does? Oh, she blossoms.
With other cats, she may be shy in the beginning, but once she gets to know them, she truly loves having kitty friends. She finds comfort in them and enjoys their company in the sweetest, most peaceful way. A calm, friendly feline sibling would likely help her confidence grow even more.
And when playtime starts? It’s like watching the sunshine peek through the clouds.
The shy little girl disappears and suddenly she’s chasing toys, pouncing, batting at anything that moves. She plays with her whole tiny heart. In those moments, you see the happy, playful kitten she’s meant to be. It’s beautiful to watch her forget her worries and just be a baby.

Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO, UT, ID, OR, WA, VT, CT, VA, NY, PA, OH, MN, WI, IL, IN, KY, TN, MD, NC, SC & Canada (Canadian adopter must pick up in Washington state i.e. Bellingham, WA or closest U.S stop)! Our cats are brought to you in style by a beautiful private bus, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. Pick-up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private Facebook Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick-up location to you!
The adoption fee is $600 and includes all vetting: FVRCP vaccines (minimum of 2 but could be more depending on age and time in the program), FeLV vaccines, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, combo tested, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a health certificate deeming the kitty healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship!

Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through.
