Story
Pretty patterned pussycats pursuing potential purrever pads. Patches would be the PERFECT apartment cat for a single person. While she may never be a lap cat she does like to hang out with people. She’s a very quiet older cat around 8-10 years old. She would do well with an adopter looking for a companion rather than a needy cat they had to entertain. Patches starts out shy around strangers, but she is fine with some time to adjust. She doesn’t mind being petted but she LOVES having her back scratched! Patches and Stripes are in foster together but can be adopted separately. But both would do well in homes with another adult cat. They were trapped together and enjoy each other’s company, but they aren’t necessary bonded to one another. All of our cats are in foster homes. Story
Cher is a beautiful young dilute calico with a heart of gold! Cher is a little cautious at first, but once she gets to know you, she quickly warms up and becomes your best friend. This energetic girl loves to play, so be prepared for lots of fun and excitement! She adores pets and will soak up all the love you can give. Cher would do wonderfully in a home with cat-savvy kids who can appreciate her sweet, calm nature. If you're looking for a gorgeous, affectionate companion, Cher might be the perfect fit for you! Cher was found with a cat that is FeLV positive. She has tested positive for the regressive form of FeLV. She is not currently symptomatic. There is a low chance of her spreading it to other cats, especially adult healthy cats. If you have questions about FeLV - we can answer them. Because of her FeLV status, she would be perfect as an only cat but she is an easy-going cat who could live with other FeLV cats or healthy adult cats. Cher is estimated at a little over 1 year old - she is a petite girl All of our cats are in foster homes. Please submit an application to start the process today! https://humaneloudoun.org/adopt/cat-adoption-application/

Story
Jesse James and Jerr Bear... these bonded brothers are not only very sweet and affectionate boys, they also know how to entertain. They enjoy playing with each other and with their other foster siblings. Jesse absolutely loves his spring toys and can entertain himself for quite a long time, and Jerry prefers the soft furry toys to carry around and play with. Although they are past the kitten stage at about 3 years old, you certainly can't tell it by how playful these boys are. Jesse is the more cuddly one where Jerry will come find you when he wants extra love and attention. They would do best in a quieter home without small children or dogs, since they have no experience with either. Older children and other cats are perfectly fine. If you are in the market for a pair of funny, entertaining and truly sweet boys, then these are your guys. Bonded pair adoption fee: $300, includes all shots, sterilized, dewormed, deflea, microchip   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Story
Smokey has a sweet personality and is cuddle-able. He is curious about his environment. He gets along with his foster's other cats and dachshund. He and siblings were found this past winter abandoned near dumpsters. We captured him using a live trap. He has been an indoor cat since. He was used to being handled by people, so quickly got over qualms about us handling him. Adoption fee: $200, includes all shots, sterilized, dewormed, deflea, microchip   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have.
