She absolutely lives for her people and wants nothing more than to be by your side. She is dog friendly with a gentle play style. While she does great in multiple play groups and gets along well with other dogs, she doesn’t feel the need to constantly engage — she much prefers human attention. An ideal home would be with a more independent dog, as Dahlia is happiest being your shadow and soaking up all the love. She loves walks, enjoys her toys, and does wonderful out in public. Her story is heartbreaking — when her owner became homeless, Lulu found herself living in a homeless encampment. She became pregnant, and a kind Samaritan stepped in to help, purchasing her so she and her puppies could have a chance at a better life. She safely made it into rescue, but sadly, her puppies contracted a virus and did not survive. It was devastating for everyone, especially sweet Lulu. Thanks to a dedicated foster, Robby has had the chance to decompress and learn what life in a home is all about—and he has done wonderfully. Robby is now house trained, crate trained, and has great house manners. He is incredibly dog friendly and lived in foster care with over 12 other dogs, happily engaging and playing with all of them. He truly enjoys canine companionship and will need a home with another dog to help him continue to thrive. His foster absolutely adored him and said he was the best boy. Thankfully he got his second chance, and now that he’s healthy he’s ready to find a family of his own. Titan is dog social and did great in playgroup at the shelter. He walks well on a leash and has that joyful puppy personality — he loves to prance, play, and have fun. He’s truly entertaining to watch and brings a lot of happiness wherever he goes. He does well in a crate, travels nicely, and absolutely loves to cuddle with his people. Titan would love a home with another dog to play with, but in the right home he could also do well as an only dog. Someone is going to be very lucky to have this sweet boy in their home.
